Looking for work? (mostly for people in Stockholm/Sweden)

The company I work at (PacketFront Software) are looking for more people. We make network management, configuration and provisioning systems for all kinds of network equipment, like routers, switches, CPEs.

We're looking for people with network knowledge and preferably some script programming skills.

If you're interested, check us out at http://pfsw.com/.
Title: Support Engineer Location: Stockholm, Sweden Job status: Full time, permanent. PacketFront Software is rapidly expanding in the Telco segment. We are making telecom operators more competitive with our solutions for end-to-end automation of network operations and service fulfilment.

This is the third book in +Scott Meyer's Magic 2.0 series that starts off with "Off to be the Wizard" and "Spell or High Water". I've listened to the first two as audiobooks, performed by Luke Daniels. I haven't listened to this third one yet, but I will soon.

Without giving away too much, the series is about a few people who discover that the world is actually a computer generated reality, and that they've found a way to manipulate it. They use this to travel in time and act as wizards in medieval England.

The kind of comedy seem inspired by Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, but is definitely not a copy.

Maybe something for +The Dewey Decibel System?

Insane archery skills!

Amazing feats, performed with all the grace and style of a kid playing "swords" with a wrapping-paper tube. http://youtu.be/BEG-ly9tQGk

If you have Netflix and haven't watched Bloodline yet, I highly recommend it. It's a drama thriller, with many interesting characters and very good acting. I'm not through the season yet, I have three more episodes to go.

In the old demo scene, we sometimes made self modifying code in assembler. http://tsitu.github.io/darth.html does self modifying/writing code in JS/HTML/CSS. Fun to look at.

I saw Kingsman yesterday, and really liked it a lot. It's a spy/secret agent movie, sort of like James Bond, but with more humor and spectacular mind blowing (you'll understand when you see it!) parts. Colin Firth is excellent as the ass kicking agent, and Samuel L Jackson is equally excellent as the villain.

I hope there will be a sequel.

If you're into reading books and listening to podcasts, +The Dewey Decibel System podcast is definitely right for you. Next two episodes will be about the Starship Troopers novel. You can also help to decide on the book after that in this vote.

Introduction
I'm a software developer, both professionally and as a hobby. I started programming BASIC on an MSX and then moved to Atari ST and assembler demo programming and later learned C.

I've since then moved to Linux and Android development in various languages. I've made a number of Android apps, games and other things. See below for a list. More is coming!

Circles I may fit in:
  • Android (Galaxy Nexus, root, whatever)
  • Developers
  • Atari
  • Swedish
  • Nice guys
I'm a science fiction fan, both for TV/movies and books.

When it comes to books, I really recommend Dan Simmons science fiction novels, such as the Hyperion Cantos and the Ilium/Olympos novels.

For TV/movies, I enjoy all that is Star Trek, TV shows like Fringe, Eureka, Warehouse 13 and The Big Bang Theory.

My Android apps (as NoCrew Mobile):
