Throwback to 2010 - Filming with a horse and knight in armour at Hedingham Castle, Essex. This was for Anglian Home Improvement's sponsorship of a show on Channel 4.

Also out in the wild (so to speak) is our new 'Barefoot in the Forest' commercial for nail-care brand Abicin, from Espere Health. This is the brand's first jaunt on TV, and we wish them well with the campaign.

The Mad Men generation knew a bit about pushing the boundaries of advertising! “The word ‘Jamaica’ serves as a logo. It’s not really a logo though, or is it? Or is it actually the headline? The geniuses at Doyle Dane Bernbach in New York in 1965 knew all that, of course. And that’s why their work was more modern than the stuff you did last week, however many hashtags and QR codes you polluted it with.”

“The seventh consecutive year that TV advertising revenue has grown in the UK” and one of my favourite statistics ‘Including TV advertising in a campaign increases its effectiveness by 40%, making it the most effective medium.’ (IPA, 2016)

There really is something rather satisfying about viral campaigns that confuse people... and it's also surprising how many people struggle to recognise and comprehend humour in advertising.
