Does anyone use Chromebooks for troubleshooting networks? I know it can't replace my normal laptop for some of the stuff I do but wondering if I could use the Chromebook as a lighter basic troubleshooting tool?
Cheers

+The Chromebook Guys, thanks, you have interesting post with reference to Beagle Term app, which lets one configure devices via USB-to-serial adapter: http://goo.gl/Zw8at6

I have just gone to update my nexus 4 with 4.4 but its bricked my phone. It was fully stock and not rooted. I had Go Launch running when I did the update. The phone trys to boot but I just get the 4 coloured circles going round on the screen and it does get any further. Is there a way to recover it? I would like to keep it stock as I am lending it to my house mate as I have got a Nexus 5 now.

So with the rumours about the new nexus device does anyone know if it will work with the 4G in the UK? Looking to make the switch at the end of the year and will wait for the next nexus if it will work!

My first Photo Sphere of the weather in London today!
I am impressed with it although I think there is some room for improvements. Here's hoping Google can do that in the next version of Android!

Just been on the play store and the Nexus 10 is not there. Anyone heard anything about a new one? Could it be being replaced?

I think its just something wrong with the page loading. If I load the page its not there but if I refreash it then it will appear.

Anyone els find the screen on the nexus 5 can be fine one minute then really sensitive for a couple of seconds? If I am scrolling it will suddenly fly to the top or bottom of what I am reading. Or press 5 buttons really quickly. I think I managed to report someone post by mistake as it happened so quickly?? Starting to drive me a little crazy.

Nope completely stock. I have ordered a screen protector so wonder if that will help.

Can anyone tell me how to stop my Nexus from connecting to a wireless network automatically?
I have 3 networks at work and only one is connected to the internet so I want to stop my phone connecting to the other 2 automatically.
They are all passworded so I don't want to forget them after I have disconnected each time. Thanks!

Why would you not want to forget the ones that don't have Internet?
