"The shadow chancellor, John McDonnell, said that the revelations marked out government ministers as “hypocrites”. He said: “The mask has finally slipped. The Tories have been saying they want to clamp down on tax avoidance to the British people, but when they think our backs are turned they are telling their MEPs to oppose any measures to make it happen."

The Reith Lectures is a series of annual radio lectures given by leading figures of the day, commissioned by the BBC and broadcast on BBC Radio 4 and the BBC World Service. The lectures were inaugurated in 1948 by the BBC to mark the historic contribution made to public service broadcasting by Sir John Reith, the corporation's first director-general.

Lord Reith maintained that broadcasting should be a public service which enriches the intellectual and cultural life of the nation. It is in this spirit that the BBC each year invites a leading figure to deliver a series of lectures on radio. The aim is to advance public understanding and debate about significant issues of contemporary interest.[1]

In a statement tweeted from the Wikileaks account at 3AM GMT Assange said: "Should the UN announce tomorrow [Friday] that I have lost my case against the United Kingdom and Swede I shall exit the embassy at noon on Friday to accept arrest by British police as there is no meaningful prospect of further appeal."

"The statement continued to say if he won his case he would "expect the immediate" return of his passport and "termination" of any attempts to arrest him if he leaves the building. The Metropolitan Police has consistently said Assange would be arrested if he left the building at any point."

The company will build new DeLoreans with authentic parts that have been warehoused all these years.
"There's no need to change the appearance of the car," Wynne said.
Wynne estimates they have enough supplies in stock to build about 300 cars.
He hopes to go from building one a month to one a week.
A refurbished DeLorean sells for about $50,000, and a new one will cost just under $100,000.
The DeLorean is back. A recent change in federal law allows a facility in Humble, Texas, to start making the vehicle for the first time in three decades, Houston NBC affiliate KPRC reported. The sleek, silver...

At its base, tucked away in the foothills of the North Yorkshire Moors, a crack team busily restore, modify and enhance Defenders and Land Rover Series models of all ages. Retro, premium and even zombie apocalypse spec Defenders are available to purchase off the shelf in T40, T60 or top-end T80 version. If ‘off the shelf’ isn’t what you’re looking for, Twisted clients can pick and choose from a range of aftermarket parts or commission Twisted’s in-house team to design something unique and bespoke. There’s not much these guys can’t and haven’t already done to a Defender.

"A spokesman said: “Very, very high salaries no longer have the same impact. Although we obviously don’t need the bonuses – seriously, you have no idea – they are symbolic of our hot desire to lay waste to your pitiful, ordinary lives."

THE Royal Bank of Scotland just wanted you to know that it is still deeply and disturbingly immoral.
