Can anyone shed light on what the "Google Play services" app does? Its distinct from the Google Play (Android Market) app, and just seems to be filling up the memory on my phone!

I'd be tempted to include the term "red hat" into an article like this, just to confuse non-SEO peeps and annoy RHEL evangelists...

What a brilliant idea - 404 pages to help notify the public about missing children

If I'd known that the UK train service (by which I mean National Rail, Network Rail and their dimwitted franchisees in the north west) were so thick that they couldn't find their own a***hole using two hands & a map, I wouldn't have spent three hours listening to constant train cancellations from the tannoy at Piccadilly #networkrailarecrap

Another great #futuregazing SEO seminar in Manchester earlier today! Plenty of good info to take back to +First Bathrooms  and hopefully improve our search marketing even further!

I've had a niggling "what was that thing I've forgotten to do?" feeling for a while now. When I had a nosey at the Mini SAScon website at lunch I realised - I forgot to buy a ticket & they're sold out now!

Noooooooo!

really debating if I should be going to SAScon in Manchester this December. That evening is our Xmas do at work, so any insights I gain could be washed away in a tidal wave of curry & fizzy drinks a few hours later :-(

I'm trying to get colleagues at work to start using the new Foursquare page I've set up for First Bathrooms - I became "mayor" earlier today.

Something tells me I'd struggle to beat this check-in.

Eric Schmidt Floats Idea Of A Yahoo-Google Search Partnership

An interesting idea this, the theory of a search partnership between Google and Yahoo...

Ignoring the issue of a potential Search Engine monopoly, this would probably anger as many people as it would intrigue...

Introduction
Found myself working in the marketing profession by a strange quirk of fate (the idea of a finance career didn't quite add up...). Started in offline marketing, but quickly found myself focussing in online marketing, specifically SEO & Social Media Marketing.
A few years down the line, I've worked on a number of highly successful SEM projects in client and agency-side environments, and have been fortunate to gain broad skills which allow me to plan and execute successful online marketing campaigns.

Examples of successful SEO campaigns I've planned & managed can be found here
