Halloween is almost here and so I thought I'd share a few creepy shots I took last weekend at Recoleta Cemetery, Buenos Aires. #halloween2012   #halloween   #argentina   #cemeteryphotography

So I moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina this week and spent the weekend exploring her charms.

San Telmo market is a microcosm which embodies everything I dreamed Buenos Aires would be.  Dancers sway deftly across cobbled streets while the sweet smell of bubbling chocolate treats mix deliciously with the sultry sounds of tango.

After +Tony Payne and I had a great night shooting 'Stars on Ice' NYE (that shot coming) I was keen to get out and try some more star trails. I had the Tunnel View Vista all to myself on this perfect night.

I was lucky enough to spend New Years at Yosemite wth a bunch of amazing photographers including,
+Thomas Hawk , +Karen Hutton , +Trey Ratcliff , +Scott Kublin , +Scott Jarvie , +Robert Scoble , +Tony Payne, +Peter Adams +Tina Ratcliff, +shirley lo and a bunch of other great people.

It was wonderful to experience the staggeringly beauty of Yosemite for the first time with such a talented and friendly group.

This shot was taken near from Glacier Point just after sunrise on the first day of 2012. It was a great start the new year!

The architectural and astronomical alignment at Chichen-Itza make it one of the great myseries of the ancient world.
Only on the summer & winter equinox, the sunlight will strike the temple steps in just the right way to create a special shadow.
This shadows slowly slithers down each step stopping at the snake head that resides at the base. Behold! The great serpent awakes from its slumber to show the astranomical and architectural mastery of the mayan civilization.

Lake Tahoe. Such an amazing place. I am hoping it will snow more up there soon as I can't wait to go snowboarding up there again. I might take a few shots too.

It's a hazardous and arduous journey when the snow is dumping down. Especially as I slide up in my overpowered, rear-wheel drive mustang. When the roads ice up, the snow falls and the crowds hit the slopes - the four hour journey can quickly morph into a 12 hour marathon.. But the harrowing journey fades away in the morning when I see the sun peak over the mountains and light up the lake.

The alleys around the mission are a smorgasboard of street art. 'Mace' is cooking up another piece in the background.

When I woke up this morning I had absolutely no idea I'd be jumping out of a plane at 18'000 feet.

With an openness to throw plans away at a moments notice and a few crazy friends;there are a multitude of ways any particular day can unfold.
