This is as I would have expected.

Interestingly, the Droid Turbo has gained support for VoLTE and simultaneous voice and data since release even while on 4.4.4.
A Motorola engineer confirmed that the Verizon Droid Turbo will go straight to Android 5.1 Lollipop. However, skipping the many bugs found in Android 5.0 Lollipop is not the main reason for the company to make such a decision.

Happy Hyena

A happy hyena relaxes on an early Spring day at the Milwaukee County Zoo.

And for all those who say that a sense of humor is as important or more important than good looks, here's your chance to prove it.

That's right. I'm back, baby!

Are you kidding me?! The Nexus Player gets a 5.1 factory image before the Nexus 9? Really?

Ya'know... if my device were supported (and I doubt it ever would be), I think I'd totally give Windows 10 a try.
Microsoft is testing an image of Windows 10 that can be flashed onto Android devices and essentially convert them to Windows phones on the spot. The program might be expanded soon if successful.

Story
Tagline
Just another geek with apparently too much time on his hands.
Introduction
I'm a life-long geek who has been fortunate enough to find people willing to pay me to play with technology every day. I must be doing something right because now they pay me to tell others how to play with technology.

Or maybe I've been doing something wrong. That just now occurred to me.

At any rate, I also enjoy exercising my creative side by dabbling in photography, drawing and painting. All with a digital twist, of course.

If you are wondering about how to classify me as far as your circles go, the following are some ideas:
  • Technology/Geek
  • Photography
  • SharePoint
  • Apple
  • Google
  • Android
  • Comic Books
  • Literature
  • Art
  • Weird
I know many of you have more...interesting...groupings. You will probably need to get to know me a little better to determine which of those I fit into. If I don't warrant a circle of my own, that is.
