Anarchists argue that the elimination of a parasitic class will reduce crime.  Still their are people like #EnriquePearce  whose offenses aren't based on need.  While it might seem like this is a major weakness of anarchism, how broken is our criminal justice system in which we have the highest incarceration rate ever?

One of my sources for SelectQuote Review, Joe Vasquez, passed away last week.  He was worried about speaking against SelectQuote coming back to haunt him, so I hadn't credited him (at his request).
At this point, I'd like to tip my hat to the man for his contributions.

Year of SelectQuote Blunders
SelectQuote: prescription drug abuse?     2014 was a year where SelectQuote and their supporters began to publicly melt down.  Before I mainly had my own story, but could only speculate as to what else SelectQuote was planning.  In 2014 whistleblowers, FBI,...

SelectQuote has seen an employee arrested for identity theft and stealing prescription drugs.  Meanwhile the SFPD #corruption trail has shaken out some interesting connections.  Taken with impersonation of ex-employees, how deep do misdeeds at SelectQuote run?

The more I think about it, the more SelectQuote's apparent co-operation with dirty vice cops stinks.  I'll just do a quick round-up of a few points, as I'm predicting little traffic over the long weekend.  Maybe I'll catch a few people in time to spark ...

The Secret Service came to pickup any personally identifiable information I had.  So, no emails going out from me.

Recently another cop went down for corruption.  This time illegal searches and falsified police reports in my South of Market neighborhood.

Introduction
I live in  in downtown San Francisco (SoMa), with my wife and 6 year old daughter.  I am a Senior Software Engineer, currently at CollabNet, with experience in web, VoIP, cloud infrastructure, and Windows client applications.
My career in software development began with Accenture in their Internet Center of Excellence incubator where I specialized on a Java stack. That's where I picked up server side Java which would be my focus for most of my career.
I've lived in San Francisco more than 10 years, in the South of Market neighborhood.  My prior hobbies included hitting the dance floor or playing tournament chess.  My daughter, Abby, is my current 'hobby'.

This time SelectQuote has a tougher fight.

I've been off of cigarettes for almost two years now, and went to a vaporizer from e-cigs about six months ago. I have the most basic KangerTek EVOD setup, but have had no problems with it. This is in sharp contrast to the rechargeable e-cigs I used to get at convenience stores. They have a wide range of flavors, at up to 24mg/ml of nicotine. They will let you try out the flavors in the store. A pack a day smoking was running me at least $6 a day, now heating coils and juice run me less than that much a week. No desire whatsoever for burning actual tobacco. My clothes don't stink. I'm sure nicotine isn't great for me, but combustion by-products are worse. Besides, you can always drop to 6mg/ml or even 0. I took my college electives in internal combustion engines and theory of combustion, so I'm not talking out of my behind here. Burn anything with carbon in it and you will get carcinogens, CO, CO2, aldihydes, even NOx if the flame is hot enough (that from the N2 in the air). Vaping just heats your solution enough to vaporize it, so you can inhale it like you're already used to. Of course, better to never have smoked. If you do, however, make an investment of < $40 and kick the habit without pain. After that initial buy, it's even easier on the wallet. Because a vaporizer doesn't look like a cigarette, you get less stink-eye than with an e-cig (I can only speak for San Francisco - in other locales people may associate vaping with illicit drug use). I always try to vape away from others anyway, regardless of the science some joker will start trying to legislate second hand vaping if we are too obtrusive.

The happy hour food is great. Everything I've tried is good, and during happy hour it is really cheap. I've gone here to eat early in the middle of the week with my daughter, she loves the Shirley Temple and shrimp. I've been here a couple of nights with friends, the vibe varies night by night, but always good liquor selection, and good food. Looks to be quite the spot to catch the fights, or a big game. I haven't been free to stop in on those occasions, but it's been packed when I walk by.

Some recent reading put me off of pig. So I tried this halal Thai spot. I had red curry chicken, my daughter had steamed broccoli. Very good. Nice heat on the curry, too. I always ask for my curry spicy, and so few Thai places oblige, so I'd rate this 4.5 if I could. Prices were quite reasonable. Abby enjoyed her broccoli.

Nice little izakaya spot (Japanese bar food). Can be quite packed some nights. They have a DJ at times on the weekend. My wife Maki and I used to go fairly often. I think of this as more a bar with really good food, which is an area that I've found San Francisco to be relatively weak in. I suppose that you could go early and skip all the drinks, but I haven't tried.

Quick no frills sandwich shop. They make a very good tuna melt. With a soup and a drink the price is reasonable for the area. Better than nearby chains, this is a regular stop for me when I work in the area. The line moves quickly over lunch. If you don't mind sitting in the dark, you can find seating there.
