My personal opinion was that Image Sliders, Carousels, or whatever you like to call them hurt conversions.  But it was difficult to find actual data from others. +Andy Crestodina challenged me to find it.  And here is all the data I could find!

Questions  -

Anyone know why in GA Ecommerce tracking, some of the transactions are recorded a day late (or even sometimes a day early)?  For example, I can look at my online ordering system and know that on the 29th, Order #950 was placed at 10 am, order #951 was placed at 1:00 pm, and order #952 was placed at 2:00 pm.  But in Google Analytics, looking only at the 29th, I only see orders #950 and #952.  But if I look at the 30th, there is order #951.

If it were just a time zone thing, I would think that orders before or after would be affected equally, but that's not the case here.

I've seen this numerous times for different clients over the years, and have never had a good explanation for it.  Any takers?

Great post!  I'm not a gamer, but I am a Jonny Quest fan, which is how I found this post.  I'm curious--what is the line they removed?  Any more info on that?
The last few years have been about moving forward - new projects, new games, new players... and looking back - Star Trek, Thundarr the Barbarian, Dungeons & Dragons, old 80's favorites like Big Trouble in Little China and Fla...

Thanks!  Have you ever tried paper and pencil roleplaying games?  If you like JQ, you'd probably really enjoy it.

About the line removal - it's from the Po-Ho tribe episode (on the first disc).  Race calls the Po-Hos "heathen monkeys".  I've heard that if you watch the episode closed captioned, the subtitles have been unchanged from the original.

To be fair, I had had good experiences with this pharmacy until about a year ago when they overcharged me and would not correct the error. So I switched to my insurance company's internal pharmacy, which was much worse than what I had experienced with Senderra. So after about a year of not getting my medicine on time, I switched back to Senderra, who filled my scrip once, and then, without consulting with me, just switched my scrip back to the insurance pharmacy. They told me it was because insurance dictated that, but the insurance company said that was not so. Then, Senderra changed their story and said they moved me as a favor, because my copay was too high (I pay $5, that's not very high). And really, what company drops you because you spend too much money with them. Finally they told me what might be the truth, that they were somehow losing money on filling my prescription. I don't know how that can be, but it's the first one that doesn't sound like a lie. But the thing is, who just transfers you out without your permission, or without any warning? That's what has me so upset. If they didn't want me, why did they allow me to transfer my scrip back to them in the first place? So my last two experiences with Senderra (the overcharge with refusal to correct, and the sanctimonious transfer out of my Rx without asking) were extremely negative. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anyone.

I come here often. It's one of my favorite sandwiches in Dallas. I'm surprised at the comments on service, because that has always been one of the things that I think separates this store--the service here has always been above and beyond what I'd expect at a sandwich shop. My kids also love the box of toys to play with while waiting for our food.

We chose a cast stone mantel from Old World when we recently built our new house. They came recommended by a local interior designer and my wife and I contacted them and got a catalog. We liked several models, and Tom at their office helped us through the pros & cons of a couple different ones, helping us get the one that worked best for our room and budget. My builder said they took great care in the shipping of the mantel. He was a little worried since they were not one of his normal vendors. We get a lot of compliments on our fireplace, partly because of the great mantel from Old Word Stoneworks.

My experience is very similar to some of the other reviewers here. I've been taking cars there for at least ten years, and it had always been pretty good. However, today I took my car their for an inspection and they were just plain rude. Extremely rude after I asked why they let someone go ahead of me (they were too busy socializing) to start my inspection. I had even gotten their a few minutes before they opened to help ensure that I'd not have to wait. Fortunately, I just took the car across the street and was finished before the other person. After that experience and reading these other reviews, I'm finished with this place.

Two Sisters just amazed me. If there is a firm in Dallas that treats their customers as well as Two Sisters treated us, I would love to find it. The food was of course fabulous. But their thoughtfulness and care for us as customers exceeded pretty much any customer experience I have had in many years. When we called to postpone our party because my wife was in the hospital, they not only let us apply our deposit to a future party, they sent over a complimentary dinner to the house to help me feed the kids. They are amazing.
