How to Create Perfect Posts for the Most Popular Social Platforms [Oh yes, you must quickly, if you haven't already, join all these social platforms and post madly. (And that doesn't mean just when you're mad, but that will work too.)]

But there is some decent advice here, if you are in the mood to climb on your keyboard for a bit. Perfect though? Pish!
Social Media - A post that works well for one social platform may not work well for another. That's because every social media has its own formula for the perfect post. Here's a ...

+Tales of Murder Press Yes, there's some decent material in there. And its source, MarketingProfs, often has useful info across the marketing spectrum.

"Rise up, be bold, be brave, be courageous ... you HAVE something ... Get out there and live!"

Princess, you are a delight and an inspiration. Keep that mad duck of yours flying down the slopes!

Yeah, you're pretending you don't want a Darth Vader toaster, but we all know the truth.
The Darth Vader toaster gets a significant upgrade with a helmet shape that sucks in your bread and returns it a little more evil than when it started.

How to Make Television Part of Your Writing Work. Uh, use the Doritos stains on your fingers to take notes with? No, there actually are some interesting writing lessons to be discerned in some—well, just a few—shows. Check it out.

Well, it certainly worked out well for Groenig—and the zillions of Simpsons fans. I would presume the videos are available from Prime, but I'm not a Prime member, so I don't know.

The show can be brutal at times, but the writing (and all the other narrative components) is stellar.

Thanks for reading, Rich!

In case you long for lurid (well, not all of them) stories to be whispered in your ear, the publisher of my short story collection has produce an audio version. It's hands-free, but that doesn't mean you can text while you're driving.

See the engaging trailer for "Joanna Macy and the Great Turning," a 26-minute film  about "the shift from the industrial growth society to a life-sustaining civilization. It is, she believes, the third major revolution of human existence, after the agricultural and industrial revolutions. This one, though, has to unfold much more quickly. The good news is that it is, all around the world."

Forget the instantaneous email, the sizzling SMS, the bulls-eye QR code. Get back to an (ancient) basic: use a typewriter, go to jail. Or maybe to a hand therapist.

Grandma knows best.

Sure, the buttoned-up side of you would probably want to rent the rooms in the earthbound-part of this hotel. But let your inner trapeze artist take the leap:

No, no—not like a turkey in that doofus, lunkhead sense. Like a turkey in that stately, elegant sense.

Huh? Well, really, more like turkey as flasher…

Bernd, turkeys are quite clumsy typists, so they mostly dictate. (They dictate to pigs, who though they are touch-typists, are very accurate.)

I quite admire your phrase, "Wringing more voltage out of my vocabulary."—zing! "A tall tide lifts more puns" is riding a wave that's more than mere sea foam too.

I can see from your work, that I can job out all my writing to you, and go back to tending my turkey flock. Thanks for the note!

Introduction
I love language, both its nuances and its broad strokes. I'm good at scrambling it, setting it up in tight lines, and tilting it toward windmills and other fanciful targets. I can also deliver it hard, fast and straight, if that's what it takes.

There you can see my writing and editing services and a sampling of the hundreds of  freelance pieces I've published—ranging from first-person essays to travel pieces to more journalistic subjects—in newspapers, magazines, and online.
