If you are an iTerm user then you might be interested in a little project I just released.

iTermocil allows you setup pre-configured layouts of windows and panes in iTerm2, having each open in a specified directory and execute specified commands. The layout files are fully compatible with teamocil files if you are a tmux user. :)

If you are a developer with lots of projects then it should hopefully be v. useful!

Hey +John Mueller , +Christopher Semturs , +Pierre Far.

I was wondering whether you guys could clarify whether specific URL entries in a disavow file are treated as head matches? I'm specifically wondering about URLs that use commas and/or semi-colons to separate parameters.

Some tools, such as +LinkRisk, crop the end off such URLs, and so if you then later used exports from them, it might be that you are not actually disavowing the URL correctly.

Many thanks!

I found a bug in Google that allowed you to find people's email address from their Google+ profile.
I found a bug that allowed me to find anyone with a Google+ account's login email address. This could be used to target specific people for spear phishing.

This is a really awesome deck on a process for producing ideas for creative pieces of content by +Mark Johnstone . It provides a very easy to digest process with some great examples. Definitely recommended.
People often ask me 'how do you come up with ideas?' It's a tough question. Ideas just come to you, right? I disagree. Learn from our successes and failur...

Are we shifting away from keywords towards contexts?

In this post I outline how keywords used to be the only indicator of a users intent, but nowadays there are many signals (of which the keyword is one) which signal their intent, and we need to update our thinking to incorporate that.
Gone are the days when a search query simply involved a string of words. Today's queries include all sorts of implicit data — location, device, etc. — that add to the search engines' understanding of what searchers really wanted to find. That fact has some very real implications for the way we think about keywords.

+Tom Anthony great article.  I was going down your posts after reading your last moz article. At a minimum (and yes - year's later) I would also add "domain" in terms of what defines context.  (depending on how granular you would like to get, but that would get too much into the weeds!)

Getting quite excited about attending and speaking at KahenaCon 2013 in a few weeks.

Kahena have put together a great set of speakers, including +Aleyda Solis. Thanks to +Ari Nahmani and his team for organising - should be an awesome conference!
