If you are looking to self-publish your work, you may be tempted to cut costs by skipping on professional editing. Here’s our advice to you – DON’T! The thrill of having written the closing chapter makes it very tempting to just publish it right away. We understand that thrill. But a professional writer knows that no first (or even second) draft is ready to be published yet. ~ http://www.accomplishpress.com/self-publish-your-book-why-you-need-editor/ #publishing  #editor #writingadvice

Writers, we need your help! Accomplish Press is working on creating new publishing and consulting services for our clients, and we need your input.
It would be immensely helpful to us if you could fill out our online survey. It's useful if you're a writer who is considering self-publishing your work. It shouldn't take too long.
To say thank you for taking part, we're offering you a choice of either a free ebook, or a 30-minute publishing consultation session. Please have a look at the survey here: http://goo.gl/forms/2F2pveMPM5

We look forward to your responses. Thank you.

It's almost the end of 2014, and like many people I'm looking back on the past year and making plans for the coming one. But with one major difference.... I'll be starting out 2015 by leaving the UK and moving back to Nigeria, after more than fourteen years away - if you don't count those short ...

Introduction
Tolulope Popoola is an Author, Publisher and Consultant. She was born in Lagos, Nigeria and moved to England for her university education where she studied Accounting and Business Economics for her first degree. After a quick stint in the workplace, she went on to study a Masters in Finance and Investment. But she never lost her love for reading, and as time went on, she began to wish for a different career path. She started writing a blog in 2006, which rekindled her love for writing and telling stories. She took a few writing classes, set up an online fiction series called “In My Dreams It Was Simpler” and started writing both fiction and non-fiction for magazines. In 2008, she left Accounting, and started working on her novel. In 2011, she set up Accomplish Press, a niche independent publisher to bring other writers like her into the spotlight. Accomplish Press
