Movie of the day. Fantasy, action, adventure with the the right touch of comedy thrown in. Not only is it safe for work, but a great family flick as well. Robert De Niro does a very nice and surprising supporting role in addition to Charlie Cox being the star, and Michelle Pfeiffer doing a very nice wicked witch. A well written fantasy with plenty of action. I'm not done watching it yet, but the plot keeps getting thicker and thicker. Everybody wants this "fallen star" for their own purposes, and it seems to include our hero Tristan even though he has reserved his love for another, perhaps before he knew the true meaning of the word...

Movie of the day. This is an older foreign sci fi, drama, but a good one. A great mind bender for both smart guys and smart gals. It is in Spanish, but English subtitles are available. To describe it with just one phrase:
Holy plot twist.

Movie of the day. Not just because it's a Chuck Norris flick, but also because there's some great late 80's styles, some clever one liners, some humor as "Danny" has gotten his therapist knocked up and they're thrown into parenting, and 80's cop mustaches all over the place (wth?). "The Terror has busted out of prison and has made a local theater his home. The mayor has some explaining to do and Danny really has his work cut out for him. A good crime - thriller - action movie of its day.

This is for the fitness buffs, gym rats, runners, and cyclists who like to listen to music while doing their thing. As some of you know, I like to go cycling after dark once of twice a week. Google threw this song at me randomly and I liked it. Figured one or two other people might like it too.

Yeah, I'm resharing. This makes me want to obtain a plug in hybrid or full ev. One can dream!

This is a great vid that was made in South Seattle. Using experienced bike commuters and a professional truck driver to assess things that are great about Seattles cycling infastructure and things that need improving. I'm sure the vid took a long time to make, but it seems worth it when lives and rising insurance rates are at stake. In the #wausau  area, it's my opinion that Stewart ave between 17th and business 52 north needs improved cycling infastructure. Thomas street between 17th and business 51 needs improvement and Rib Mountain drive in Rib Mountain. Of course these things cost lots, so I'm only recomending the above improvements when those roads get resurfaced.
Thnkyou and have a nice day!

Movie of the day. Wasn't exactly riveting. The part that really pulled at my heart strings is the dysfunctional family relationship he has with his daughter - Towards the end of the movie - After he tries to commit suicide on stage. Found it at Redbox. That is all.

Well, most of my cycling mileage is recreational. This week I have so much to get done it's not funny. I get my saddle time in by commuting when this happens. I took the scenic route home from my 3rd shift job today. It was a 22 mile scenic route. Lol!

Introduction
The year, 2015, I'm 39. I love doin stuff outdoors: Biking, hiking, snowshoing, camping, kayaking. I call myself a "leatherneck Lutheran" because it's amazing what a person of faith can live through. I'm half Eskimo n half french Canadian so it's an intriguing mix w being Lutheran.  ..
After meeting so many new people here on G+, I've also learned I'm a contrarian and a minimalist, kinda. As a Christian Contrarian, if you post something controversial or I may find offensive, I'm likely to comment on it. I welcome debate and different points of view. I'm not a sore loser and if things get too hot, I'll simply remove you from my circles. I beleive being blocked is a terrible thing. So someone has to hit pretty hard below the belt before I'll block them.
I also enjoy wrenching on my truck, fixing up bicycles for friends n family, and volunteering at my church. I'm hoping to obtain a Harley Sportster 1200 in the next year or two. A bit of a technophyle as well. I love Android, Chromecast, and Strava cycling. I enjoy commuting by bike to work twice a week, which is 10 miles / 35 minutes one way. I am a "tree hugger" as well. I enjoy rock music as far back as the seventies to today, trance, rap, pop, 80's pop, hip hop, and mellow electronic. Love sci fi movies, action, thiriller, well made dramas and comedies, and based on true story films. I do have a complicated past. I'm working very hard at keeping my present and future as uncomplicated as possible. Work hard, play harder, eat, sleep, wash, rinse, repeat...

Laborer, Forklift Operator, 2001 - present
Cheese gets brought to me in blocks ranging from 7 pounds to 680 pounds. I take the blocks out of their "shipping container" and prepare them for the production lines. On the lines, the Cheese gets sliced, diced, cubed, or shredded, packaged, labled, boxed up, palletized, and stored in a warehouse sized cooler to await shipping to stores, restaurants, or other factories. It pays the rent.

When the cook is having a bad day, don't order a steak. The ribs are great I hear and the mushroom and swiss burger I had was quite nice, served with fries. A very well stocked bar and a toleration for kids, complete with crayons and an activity sheet. I'd recommend this place to my friends and family.
