My DJI Phantom 3 arrived Friday. So far I've had it out twice (I'd be out there all day but they have not pushed out any spare batteries yet). It operates using the same DJI Pilot app that their higher end Inspire 1 uses. This app is really nice. The camera on my Phantom 3 Professional takes 12mp photos and 4k video (or 1080p at 60fps). They also made the view wider and dropped the fish-eye lens. Photos and video is amazing! They also dropped the WiFi video connection in favor of it's own transmitter. DJI rates the video feed at 1.2 miles. Many people have gone 3 miles without issue. Today I had it out at 2400' with no issue (personal record). Once I get more batteries I'll be able to go out for longer and test the limits.

At what point did they realize that plants would not grow without sunlight?

I was driving home today and a giant Pac Man passed me!

Read a review of a local restaurant that someone left on Google. Here is part of that review, "don't eat here because its the third time that we alone find gross things in our food." Um... I guess it's not until the 3rd time that you find strange items in your food that you stop eating there. Personally, I'd stop after the first time.

I picked up one of these devices mainly to see what it showed about my sleep patterns but now it's proving to by a nice monitor and motivator for walking more. My goal is for 8000 steps a day which I'm told is average. I've been doing it for a couple of weeks and found that 8000 requires a little effort. Also, it does not even burn that many calories. If I reach 8000 steps a day I might bump it up to 2 miles.

The band is about $16 online.

:) cool. I think I'll get one. Really need some insight into my sleep. I haven't had a good, restful night in many months.

I've only ordered from RC Depot once and that was for the newly released Phantom 3. They had them in stock when few others did and were great to talk to on the phone. I ordered one around 10:30 their time and they had it in the mail later that day (in the mail, not just a label). Great service. If I buy online I'll certain look at RC Depot first.

Ordered a Phantom 3 from them on 4/24. Sent a few emails and they were answered slowly. Last email was ignored. They could only tell me that as soon as they had the P3's, they would send them out. Their website states they are a "preferred dealer" so they should have P3's as soon as anyone else. In the meantime other dealers have been selling and sending P3's. I made an order with another dealer today and cancelled my order with US Hobby. My drone from the other dealer was mailed today. Other dealers have also mailed out entire stocks, had more stock arrive, mailed those out and have extras. I have no idea what situation US Hobby is in as they no longer respond. They were quick to pick up the phone and very fast in cancelling my order. I suspect part of this problem is due to DJI but I'll never know.

I give this hotel 2 stars based on cost of other hotels in the area. I stay in nice hotels when working and Super 8 hotels when I'm paying the bill. Pretty much every Super 8 hotel I've been in has been better. The good... it's clean, almost no noise from airplanes and they have remodel some what. But that is about it. What I consider "bad" is when a hotel simply does not offer what they can/should. There was no iron in my room. Every outlet was used up and I had to move funiture to get at them. The chair to the desk is a ottoman (the desk draw hits me in the upper chest). My Internet connection drops several times every 30 minutes (a few times it stayed connected for hours). There was no "do not dusturb sign so I had to make my own (thank goodness I brought my own pen as there is not one in the room). These are all things that I can live with but the reason for the 2 stars is that the hotel could _easily_ solve these issues and choose not to. It's like selling a car without tires. Sure, you delivered 99% of the car but what good is it without the tires. Note: lost Internet conection 3 times while writing this.

Stayed here for two nights on a recommendation. The hotel was recently remodeled. It has retained his historic feel and look but they added just the right touches to bring it current. I'd say that it's easily on par with a Hampton or Hilton Gardens but its maintained his old hotel feel. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. If I'm in the area I'd look forward to staying here again.

I've stayed in a lot of Super 8 hotels and the like. If I can sleep in a room, it's fine with me. I must say that this is probably the first hotel that I could not even do that. The mattresses are of such low quality or are so old that you sink 4" in them. They have remodeled the bathrooms and they are not bad. They still have 20" CRT TV hanging from an arm mounted on the wall. Breakfast is pretty standard in most lower rent places but this one has far fewer items then typical. They also have the orange juice machine set to water down the drinks to pretty much colored water. To me, this saves pennies to lose dollars. It shows me people who just don't understand how to run a business.

Bought a used vehicle a few days ago. I dread the sales process but this was different. Very easy going and no pressure.Sales person was very up front about the dealers charges. Only hidden fee was a "security" fee for about $300. Sales person spent about 2 minutes after the sale pointing out the things I should know before driving the vehicle. Useful information and very quick. I'd check out their lot when buying another vehicle.

I had all the windows in my home (about 13) replaced. I felt that Advanced's price was reasonable. I'm sure the cost of the 0% financing was built into the price so don't think it's free. The two people who came out to install the windows were _very_ professional. They were personable, friendly and did a great job in cleaning up after they were done. However, most windows installed do not close easily. The frames were slightly twisted so I need to push/pull the window to fit the frame when closing. Not a big issue. They failed to caulk around one of the windows. I attempted to obtain some caulk from them but they seemed disinterested and gave me an incorrect color. One of the windows cannot be removed in the summer as it expands and won't clear the frame.
