Great article .... 
That's a good way to split a monilithic API. So it is a great advice to not create a monilithic API in the first place .... But even if you API is mean and lean, there might be a need for smaller and App-focues BBFs ....
Our friends at SoundCloud embarked on a journey a few years ago that changed their system and moved it from a monolithic Rails application towards an ecosystem of microservices.
