As we head into the 'official' first weekend of summer, we're firing up the grill on #TBT...the grill of a 1965 Chevy Impala SS! We don't recommend trying to cook your burgers and hot dogs on it, however. :-)

If you plan to travel for Memorial Day weekend, be prepared to practice patience, as you may spend some time sitting in traffic. http://www.foxnews.com/travel/2017/05/22/memorial-day-traffic-expected-to-hit-record-high-this-year.html

Today's funny bumper sticker: "Behind every great man is a woman rolling her eyes." :-)

It's #TBT, and we look back 50 years or so when the job of mechanic was thought of as a low-skill position, usually done by someone who owned a wrench and knew how to pump gas. Today's auto repair technicians typically receive hundreds of hours of training (much of it ongoing) and must be knowledgeable and highly skilled in order to keep up with today's complex and computerized vehicles. Hats off to our hard working technicians!

Today's funny bumper sticker: "The only thing I hate more than having a dirty house is cleaning." :-)

We salute the in-car CD player this #TBT. It was 1984 when Pioneer uh, well, pioneered in-dash CD audio when they debuted the CDX-1. Soon after, CD players became standard in most cars and stayed that way for years. Today however, you will have hard time finding a CD player in a new car as they have been replaced with USB ports and Bluetooth technology.
