Okay, the decision has been made. We will be offering out Big Life. Tiny House. e-Course starting May 1. Registration cost? FREE. There will be two points during the e-Course to support our work and effort by donation if you feel led to. If not, no sweat. It is our gift to y'all. Thoughts?

Please don't underestimate a good #FirstAid  Kit and how important it is in your #TinyHouse  or #RV . Just because space is limited doesn't mean your desire to attend to boo-boos and emergencies has to be!

http://tinyrevolution.us/2015/02/20/a-first-aid-kit-for-the-tiny-life/
Just because living in a small space is prohibitive to things like 60″ LCD screens, walk-in closets, and side-by-side washer and dryer units, does not mean it is implausible nor irresponsible to have a proper first aid kit. From small […]

What a fun post. Everyone in the tiny world can use an alternative tree.

The Perfect Alternative Christmas Tree - According to HISTORY.com the history of the Christmas tree is a rather long one finding a root (see what I did there?) in numerous cultures over hundreds of years. In fact, “long before the advent of Christianity, plants and trees that remained green all year had a special meaning for people in the winter. Just as people today decorate their homes during the festive season with pine, spruce, and fir trees, ancient peoples hung ev... http://ow.ly/2RRb9t
Ask most any American and the answer you are likely to get regarding the perfect Christmas tree is a Fraser Fir or Douglas Fir standing just over 6' tall and about 53" wide.

lots of ideas there. I'm kind of a traditionalist so would likely stay with just a very small real tree, and yet go with electric LED lights instead of candles (not a good idea on a tree in a tiny house anyway). Only need to make room for it during the season and then recycle it back to the environment.

Are you wondering how you can make money living on the road in your THOW? Today's post (written by us) on +Tiny House Blog gives some ideas on just that! -> http://tinyhouseblog.com/tiny-house/making-a-living-with-a-tiny-house-based-business/
A tiny house based business should expand with us and not limit our freedom to travel, exploration, adventure, connection, etc.

I love when we can share a bit of advice with others. I was recently able to start talking to Tiny House Tiny Footprint about putting funds together to start their build. I even had the opportunity to write out a guest post:  https://tinyhousetinyfootprint.squarespace.com/blogposts/2015/2/26/5-ways-to-find-money-to-help-your-build
This month we are featuring a guest post by Andrew Odom, founder of Tiny r(E)volution. The tiny house movement is filled with wonderful souls and Andrew is one of them. We connected on social media a few months ago and it feels like we've already met. That's the power of the web, my friends. I asked Andrew to help us begin our tiny house project. I told him that we were struggling to get started as financials are always tight. Since he...

Just when you think you’ve seen it all in the tiny house community or attended every workshop there is or read every book on the shelves along comes something newer with seemingly more information. Don’t be discouraged though because it simply isn’t true. New opportunities are often making themselves known and thanks to Mariah Coz and The Comet Camper you can now enroll in TinyCamp: 3 Months of Community, Campfire Chats, Expert Guidance and Resources.

A media-mentary on our goal to downsize, minimalize, prioritize, and proselytize, the plight of the Tiny House in a sustainable world.
Introduction
Crystal and Andrew Odom? Normal people with normal ideas! But life for us is one of sustainability and stewardship in the home and around the land. We live it. We write about. And we always want to talk about it.
