I work from home. I have always had a small office space to isolate myself and really focus in on my day-to-day tasks. Usually those spaces are just claimed nooks and crannies and traditionally, have NOT been heated/cooled. That has all changed now. I installed a ClimateRight DIY Mini Split AC with Heat Pump in my latest office.

It is always nice to have another occasion we can show the "proof in the pudding." We have recently placed our trademarked Built-In Roll Out Bed (plans here: http://bit.ly/1WJE0rZ) in our small house otherwise known as Tiny r(E)volution v.3.0. As you can see the years have treated it well and it looks (and feels) just as comfortable as ever. Our guests will definitely thank us in the morning!

Have you ever seen a more beautiful and comfortable looking park model? I would definitely call this model by EcoCabins in Colorado, a great place to call home! And while I'm at it, have you ever seen a better looking magazine for micro, tiny, small, and otherwise, unconventional, home enthusiasts? No? Well start reading today by getting your copy of Tiny House Magazine Issue 40.

We all toss around the idea of building a small space out of completely recycled and repurposed materials. But is it always a good idea? Visit the link below on +Tiny House Blog to find out my thoughts on the subject.

I have been an LP Building Products SmartSide fan since 2009 and I remain one today. Tomorrow we'll start showing photos of our barn we are wrapping up on. We, again, used LP products and couldn't be happier with the application and finished product. Until then though, be sure to head over to +Tiny House Blog to read my side-by-side comparison of SmartSide, T-111, and OSB. It is worth the read.

Now that we are #smallhomestead living my fields of interest are varying just a bit. Today on +Tiny House Blog I was fortunate enough to write about the myth of creating a 1-acre homestead/small farm. Take a moment and have a read:

I am happy to report that Tiny House Magazine Issue 39 is now available for purchase. Let me remind you that this magazine is the ONLY magazine in the world dedicated to micro, small, tiny, and otherwise, unconventional housing. Each month is expertly published by Kent Griswold of Tiny House Blog. You can purchase your copy by clicking on this link: http://bit.ly/19Irtsh

I do receive a small commission off each sale that comes through the above link. However, this month I am donating 75% of my commission to Roger Lehet of Kimberly Wood Stoves. Roger was in an accident just a couple of days ago. His camper and his truck were totaled and Roger can use the help of the tiny house community. -> https://www.gofundme.com/b8tx2m5k

Please do consider purchasing a copy for both the resource of the magazine and to support a pioneer in the tiny house movement.

A media-mentary on our goal to downsize, minimalize, prioritize, and proselytize, the plight of the Tiny House in a sustainable world.
Introduction
Crystal and Andrew Odom? Normal people with normal ideas! But life for us is one of sustainability and stewardship in the home and around the land. We live it. We write about. And we always want to talk about it.
