I am working on creating a character for my next book that suffers from trauma and drug abuse induced schizophrenia and associative personality disorder.  With this in my, I have a few questions. Could these two exist under the understanding of comorbidity? Is it possible that the patient wouldn't know all of its alters? And is it possible for one alter to kill another?

This is a subject I don't know a lot about, and am trying to make sure that the research aligns to the truth, and not my fairy tale of what I expect it to be. Any help or insight would be great!

I continue to dig into the research, but any helpful comments would be greatly appreciated.

I assume that when you refer to "associative personality disorder" you actually mean dissociative identity disorder

Schizophrenia and dissociative identity disorder have similar symptoms and are sometimes hard to distinguish between. That being said, I haven't been able to find any cases where a patent has been diagnosed with both (It may be possible, I suggest further research.)

It is possible for a patient with dissociative identity disorder to be unaware of one or more of his/her alters. I have no idea about one alter killing another though.

When researching topics make sure to use scholarly articles. Either use - https://scholar.google.com.au/
or, if you are a university student, there should be a library of articles available to you online through your university.

Last night was the Nook's Valentine Hunt and Ball with some of the amazing women of the Nook, including +Shannan Albright , +Nara Malone , +Siobhan Muir and Endora Twinkles.

Even if you missed the ball, you can still participate in the hunt and find some great goodies (I know that my prize is still available in Greyville). Have fun, good luck on your hunt and Happy Valentines Day (even if it is a little bit of crazy love)  world.narasnook.com:8900

I've been sick for the last 9 days, but instead of bringing me a cup of hot tea or a bowl of soup, how about stopping by The Crime Writers' Chronicles, where I am talking about one of my favorite topics #psychopathy
Psychopaths—Where Do They Come From? Today we welcome a colleague from Richmond, Virginia, who deals with psychopaths in her day job… Psychopaths have long been a driving force in my own crime novels—a high-level corporate executive, the wife of a state governor, a former rogue CIA operator, ...

I'm blessed to be able to do what I love, and yesterday, in Hampton, at the My Time Women's Show, I had the chance to meet some amazing people and share some great laughs with some of my fellow Strumpets (@LeahStJames @DeniseGolinowski @ElvyHoward, @MollieCOxBryan) . http://www.tinaglasneck.com/expo-happiness/

I really want to revamp my magazine blog, and am still contemplating what makes sense -- the things a new year makes me realize. So, what sort of blogs do you visit and why? #helpme
