My reading of Romans 14 reminds me that I am not the judge of others, God is.
Verse 12: So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
While it is wise to present God's word to others so they know, we are not to judge their behavior as it pertains to the "doubtful issues" (or small things); that is God's job.
I'm also reminded that none of us should knowingly behave in a way that hurts another's walk in faith.  If we feel that a certain behavior is OK but another is offended by it, keep it to yourself, do not cause anguish between each other over silly things.  God will work through each of us in conviction what is right and wrong behavior.

These verses from 1 Corinthians about spiritual immaturity and the roles of servants are some of the reasons why I believe denominations are not biblical. All church leaders are servants and their "churches"/denominations are servants of God. So why do we so focus on being members of this or that "church" or denomination?
We should all be together as Christ's church and each working on building people up from spiritual milk to spiritual solid food. Maybe some leaders are better with the milk teachings and others better with solid food. I also think it is difficult to get both milk and solid food messages in good balance from the same leader in 1 hour message once a week. Rather those who need milk should be with leaders skilled in those messages and those ready for solid food seek leaders skilled to serve it.
Rather than denominations "fighting" for numbers, what about beginners church and intermediate church and disciple church? Church leadership that focuses on teaching people where they are and when the people are ready "graduating" them to another church leadership for the next stage; just as Paul set the foundation and Apollos built on it.
In this way we stop focusing on man's rules that created denominations and the tension they create and we focus on building up the people to let God do the growing.

What of doctrinal differences? Isn't that the main issue separating denominations and churches? And it should be. Paul would not have suffered wrong doctrine for a moment, and that is not what he is arguing here.

It's too bad legislation is preventing the growth of high speed internet. I guess it's OK for government to be anti-competitive but illegal for private companies.

I agree with this article. I do at times also question other parents' decisions. As I pass each year as a parent and make mistakes I find I do less criticizing but ask "does than work and should I try that?"
I am learning that we all are facing the same journey but on our own unique path because each of our children are unique.
So what does or doesn't work for you may be just the opposite for another parent. Maybe if we parents (globally speaking) stop bashing each other and offer a helping hand, we can make parenting a little bit easier.
