Introduction
I can't tell you what movie I watched last night but for some reason I can remember everything I've learned about San Diego's fascinating history and have a knack for finding scenic viewpoints and interesting tidbits about San Diego attractions missed by most.

So, I've used my creative side to create a travel web site, which the L.A. Times referred to as the go to site for couples planning romantic things to do in San Diego, and a sightseeing tour company, which earns rave reviews on TripAdvisor making it the top rated sightseeing bus and walking tour in San Diego.

Meanwhile, I continue to use my analytical background and focus on details to build the business.

I can't believe how much rain we are getting today!...and thunder and lightning non-stop!...in the middle of July! (If it continues tomorrow, it'll the the 1st time in San Diego history it rained on the 19th!) http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/news/2015/jul/18/thunderstorms-fire-dolors/
Rain, winds, lightning mar San Diego Gay Pride Parade.

G+ General Help  -

Hi. I need help connecting my YouTube page to the G+ page for my business. I was automatically assigned a G+ page for my YouTube '/SanDiegoTours channel. I created a local business page on G+ (+TourGuideTim) and want to connect my YouTube channel to that G+ page instead. Both G+ pages are associated with my Google account. How do I make the switch? Thank you.

Today’s UT has a nice article about the celebrations in San Diego at the end of WWII and noted how our sleepy little fishing town finally grew up when many of the returning military members decided to come back to the beautiful area where they got their training. A few months ago, I mentioned many of them were trained up on Torrey Pines Mesa, which was home to Camp Callan and Camp Matthews. Another notable spot for training was in the southern part of La Jolla around Bird Rock. There was an anti-artillery training camp that operated 24 hours a day, which according to the history books (but hard for me to believe) trained upwards of 400,000 troops during WWII. Thank you to all those who served and returned to help make San Diego a wonderful place with many fascinating stories. http://www.utsandiego.com/news/2013/Jun/01/war-ends-twice-region-changed/?#article-copy

My father-in-law spent a week in the facility after back surgery. My wife and I visited for extended periods daily and got to meet the variety of staff members from the administrators to the nurses to the physical therapists to the occupational therapists who visited his home to make sure it was set up properly for his return. All of them were professional and caring making for a good experience. I also liked that the facility was in good condition and would recommend this business for others who may need skilled nursing.

Operacafe is conveniently located across the street from Balboa Theatre. 4 of us decided to try it out before attending a show. We enjoyed the lively atmosphere, the food and the service would return again the next time we catch a show at Balboa Theatre.

They offer a very professional level of service relative to the typical auto service shop. It's more akin to getting your car repaired at a dealership. However, Elite's staff is very friendly and patient to explain and make recommendations and not pushy like what I've typically experienced at dealerships. They were quick to follow-up on getting an unusual part we needed from Toyota, provided my wife a courtesy ride to work when she dropped off the car, and successfully made the fix we needed. This is a small business worth supporting!

It was my first trip to Miami. My friend has been there before. We both enjoyed the tour. It was well paced with multiple stops at places like the Biltmore Hotel, Holocaust Memorial, and Little Havana. I liked being able to see well known places like South Beach and Coral Gables. We learned a lot from our friendly driver/guide as well as from the seat back recordings/headphones, which are available in multiple languages. They provided us water and time for lunch. The climate controlled bus was new and comfortable. I'd highly recommend this tour for others visiting Miami.

I've been in 3 times recently to polish and fix men's shoes. They are friendly, offer quick turnarounds..same day if necessary, and each time it's $5. I had no problem getting parking close to the shop on each visit as it is in a small retail center so I was in and out quickly. Note it is a controlled parking lot during business hours...take the parking ticket into the shop for validation. There is no ticket needed late afternoons and weekends. So far so good, so I'll continue to return.

Excellent. On a small group tour (bus holds about a dozen or so) you get to ask a lot of questions and get personal attention. Brendan was our guide. He's very friendly and easy to chat with. I got a good feel for the city of San Francisco as we visited different neighborhoods and had a chance to get out and take pictures along the way. We even got to walk around some of the shops and neighborhoods. The view of San Francisco from the top of Twin Peaks gave us a good sense of how the city is laid out. We got to enjoy spectacular views of the Golden Gate Bridge from both sides of the bridge. On our tour, we enjoyed a nice lunch under the redwoods at Muir Woods. It's a great overall experience that I would recommend to any visitor.

I'm not one who cares to shop and I don't stay up on the latest cool things to buy for kids. Toy Depot made my shopping experience so easy and quick that I just had to write a review. They greeted me at the door and quickly showed me a couple great gift ideas at a reasonable price. To add icing to the cake, they gift wrapped my purchase for free. I wish shopping could always be this easy. I will be going back to Toy Depot for all of my toy purchases. They also mentioned that in the coming weeks they will be making a nice upgrade to their web site and offer many more items to buy online. I highly recommend you bookmark them. You can't go wrong.
