I don't think it's purely limited to genetic, memetic and temetic manipulation act similarly both on those substrates, and even particularly between substrates.

Well, all things must pass, but the greening looks set to continue for a while to me. Probably, increased cloud cover would eventually put a stop to the benefits plants will get from the increased warmth, moisture and nutrient levels humans are bringing. However other changes will probably take people's minds off the climate before very much happens.

+Bob Mottram "sounds spurious" only because GG theory is sold as 'settled science' - it is not - ice core and geological proxies are considered reliable because they match up well from all over the world and CO2 is a well-mixed trace gas - what's telling in the proxies which also record surface temps. is that CO2 change lags temps when they do track in parallel, but in certain epochs they don't track at all

feedbacks are the focus of current GG theory, which continue to be controversial, particularly because the role of water vapor and clouds is still not fully understood - there is also the issue with the so-called 'upper/mid-tropospheric, tropical hot spot' - essential to 'run away' GG theory, but missing in observation - the notion of 'settled' GG theory is political and to some virtually religious, but not scientific

also deceptive is the so-called 'consensus' - of course common sense tells us the climate is always changing and true: 95+% of scientists agree that there is 'warming', and some of it is 'anthropogenic' in cause - where there is no significant consensus is that it is 'catastrophic' - in the words of Dr. Richard Lindzen: ".8ºC warming in 150 years is synonymous with there being no problem."
