OK I am sold, luckily I am just over the stream from Ye Olde Englande so I will be buying several crates of this next time I go over.......in about 10 months time. Great review!! I am already a major fan of Fentimans Ginger Beer so I am glad to see they seem to be consistent.

+Ian Hex is a fan of the CC and I like their Rose Lemonade as a mixer with gin. The ginger beer is fab as it has a good kick and not too sweet.

One of the very few things that I really miss is an English summer garden in an English summer - thanks to the excellent +Paul Stickland for posting this.

Jake Hobson - Cloud Pruner
I had the great pleasure of meeting Jake yesterday at the Shaftesbury HQ of niwaki.com
Niwaki is the Japanese art of Cloud Pruning and Jake has his own take on this ancient art, combining the rigorous techniques of the masters with his own approach to creating architectural, scuptural and organic topiary garden forms.
"My speciality lies in the grey area of what I call organic topiary: the fusion of cloud pruning and more deliberate Japanese niwaki-style pruning, inspired as much by local landscapes and organic forms as by Japan"
We have much in common and I am not a little envious of his interesting and diverse work.
This short video is a great introduction to Jake and Niwaki.
For more details do visit jakehobson.com and if you love fine Japanese gardening tools then be very careful about visiting niwaki.com :)

:) I inherited a hand brace bit drill from my grandfather via my father. There is a satisfaction when I'm using that to bite into some grain that is lost when using the powered variety

Great thanks, just a question though why do you waste so much water?

Good save.  It is a real peeve outside the US when we see folks let the source of life run into the sewer.  Good vid though, I used a blow torch to revive ours including a bunch of Blinis pans that were a junk yard find - I like the rainbow finish or the deep blue you can get at the right temperature.

Two years ago my friend and 'mentor' Mr John died suddenly and certainly much too soon. John gave me back my music and made me love performing instead of fearing it, we only managed to record together once, an April afternoon six months before he passed.  This link is to one of my microphone pages, at the bottom of this page is a sound-clip of Mr. John and I (as HarmonicaTim) playing Summertime.  I miss John a lot, mostly for his sense of humour and his love of music.
