The 8th instalment of my article series on photographing wildlife behaviour is now available in the May/June 2017 issue of Wildlife Photographic Magazine.

My latest article is about the mating behaviour of Norhayati's flying frogs in the tropical rainforest of Malaysia. When the adult flying frogs come down from the canopy to breed at night there is some unique mating behaviour to capture. The challenge as a photographer is to capture the moment without disturbing the subject.

The series entitled “Capturing Behaviour” explores the importance of identifying and anticipating a variety of common animal behaviour in order to achieve more captivating results with your wildlife photography.

The latest instalment of my article series on photographing wildlife behaviour is now available in the January/February 2017 issue of Wildlife Photographic Magazine.

This #article is all about one of the miracles of the natural world, nest building. Amongst #birds, the weaver is one of the most accomplished architects of intricate #nests. Mongabay published an interview with me today in conjunction with my two films being screened in 2016’s Wildlife Conservation Film Festival in New York, award-winning The Return of the Salmon and Red-Shanked Douc: Primates on the Edge.

You can view the interview, “Alaska’s Salmon and Vietnam’s Doucs: Wildlife Narratives by Producer Tim Plowden” on the Mongabay website at: http://bit.ly/2dmpnfJ

I’m privileged to be given so much exposure on an environmental science and conservation news and information platform trusted by millions of people.

It was a real pleasure to be interviewed by Shannon Cuthbert. Her questions weren't just about my work and career, she also wanted to discover the people I’ve collaborated with on my productions.

Enjoy!
