An old picture but a New Website

The new website Lives!! http://timhillphotos.co.uk

I am very pleased and nervous for teething problems all at the same time. For now I have an old picture of me with my first Nikon (D3200) until one of my photography friends takes a better one of me out in the field.

Enjoy Sunday and have a good poke around the new website.

Kind regards
Tim

Out to Sea

A sunrise image from a few years back taken on the pier of the beautiful Weymouth Harbour in Dorset, southern England.

The new website is all but finished and I am very happy with it. I have one more image to add and lots of testing but plan to send it live tomorrow. I know I already have a website, the first blog post will try and explain why I want and need two.

The new site will sell digital downloads for a very low price that all can afford but also there is a ever growing and searchable collection of free to use images as well as free Lightroom presets. I have been promising new presets for a while, that's my next project I promise!

Enjoy the weekend all, we have just had a big thunder storm but now the weather is sunny and 25C again and all has dried up :)

Span

I found and image that shows both sides of the bridge. Other than a quick time-lapse this is the last of the Humber Bridge shots. I apologise for the wide lens distortion, the pillars where not really bending in :)

Structure

As requested, not so heavy processing this time, this bridge truly is a work of art!

Old Wooden Defences

I love these old timbers and though they would make a nice foreground to this 4 second exposure of the Humber Bridge. I used a 10 stop ND with a 3 stop stacked on top to make 13 stops, which was enough to make all the traffic on the bridge disappear.

Enjoy the rest of the week all and the lovely weather we have here in the UK at the moment!

For anyone interested - for my recent images, I have been mainly using a combination of Lightroom & Luminar - it seems Luminar has been stripping the exif data from my images. I will get on top of this ...

Kind regards ..

Sea Birds & Dreams

This is 1 of 401 shots that made up yesterdays Time-Lapse footage.

I was talking with another photographer and good bloke while the time-lapse was snapping away in camera.
