This is a great idea. Historical fiction can be a wonderful way to make history come alive to a child. Especially when done in a "book club"-like setting where the distinctions between what is history and what is fiction can be discussed.

Please help fund this project if you can!

Anyone in the triangle area interested in more competition for our internet access and television service? This can only be good for local internet availability, cost, and speed; maybe even improved service.

We're excited to start discussions with the Triangle to bring Google Fiber there. Share this graphic to let your neighbors know the news. Learn more and sign up for updates: http://goo.gl/AqL6me

Working with TomEE over the past six months or so has been fantastic in comparison to WL, WS, or even JBoss. My only complaint would be the documentation. If you know what to ask for, you can get answers very quickly on the forums, but so much of that should be available in some sort of document. Searching the TomEE/OpenEJB web site often results in out-of-date pre-TomEE information.

On a related note, I have a bunch of other developers that have been working with our old app servers and have some knowledge of J2EE 1.4 and are just now getting their feet wet with JavaEE 6 and TomEE. Does anyone know of any formal JavaEE 6 training out there that uses TomEE as the app server for the labs?

I agree with the comment on documentation. Unfortunately, few users have any more time for documentation than the developers do.
The issue for me is that I am not using TomEE like most users. Most of the examples and existing documentation is geared towards new web apps and our enterprise app doesn't have a large web piece and was migrated from J2EE. There is also not a lot of documentation or examples on getting your server tuned for production.
