...while also fixing things that actually need to be fixed, like cron.
SMF Scheduled Services are one of the things that I'm really
pleased are in modern Solaris:

Dan Krasinski did a wonderful job here, both in implementing the original
work, as well as being amazingly responsive to early adopters (like me :-)

Thoroughly enjoyed the @yeastieboys AGM - feel-good factor was high & I remain a huge fan of what the company is doing.

Disturbing lack of window decoration in Windows 10. It's like they saw twm and thought "Yeah, that looks modern!"

OS/Net guardian. Solaris Engineer.
Introduction
I work on Solaris, and am the current tech lead of the ON consolidation at Oracle. I'm a Dad of two, a very proud husband of one, and play with cameras, computers and the kids. I live in NZ and blow off steam by going running, brewing beer, and mucking about on a mountain bike.

It was our 2nd time to Pizzeria Napoli tonight. We popped in about 5pm on a Friday and were the first customers there, but the place quickly filled up with the after work crowd. The staff were extremely friendly throughout our meal. We had great starters and wonderful pizza, tiramisu and excellent gelato for the kids. A+ would do business again :-)

A fantastic place to bring the kids. We spent ages just playing with the gravity bowl alone. Expensive, but very much worth a visit. Dad got to geek out too, which was most excellent!
