I definitely appreciate DS9 much more as an adult. I think now it's my favorite Star Trek series.

From the unforgettable characters to the compelling plots, this series truly stands out from the rest.

Here's a summary of my first two days in No Man's Sky:

Two days in and I'm still exploring the first planet. My starter planet is a toxic rain plagued fungus swamp with huge mushrooms and derpy rhino-dinos. I opts to name my planet ShroomDoom.

I've learned most of an alien language belonging to a species of robotic humanoid constructs called the Korvax. They are generally friendly if a bit clinical. Ditched my starter ship and salvaged a bigger, better ship that had crashed on the same planet. Upgraded my suit and multi tool. Made a small fortune mining abundant metals. Found the ship by interacting with/hacking alien terminals to find a distress signal.

I guess I ought to go into space now that I've learned over 150 words of the Korvax language and scanned 100% of species on the planet.

+Lamont Doss this phone is very tempting, but our mutual friend +Mike Haydn had some issues with support. I'm trying my best to wait for the new Nexus phones.

Best breakfast around. It's always hopping for a reason. Love their livermush.

The lunch buffet only has a limited selection, but I loved it. So easy to pig out on their curry.

Delicious pancakes, and several types of them to boot. Friendly staff, and reasonable prices. One of the best pancake houses in the Myrtle Beach area.

Good, simple Italian food. Friendly staff. Shrimp Alfredo is delicious, with perfectly cooked shrimp and a nice, creamy sauce. My wife and I always make it a point to come here any time we're in the Myrtle Beach area.

I am normally a beer drinker, but I do love a nice sweet sipping wine. If you like sweet NC wines, this is the place to go. Their Christmas wines are great, as is their Mothervine Scuppernong. The tasting was well worth it.

Well worth the wait. It's always use because it's so good. I'm not a huge fan of Belgian waffles in general, but I like the ones here.
