The Red Pitaya is marketed as a type of digital oscilloscope, and is more accurately described as a type of digital measurement and control tool that sells for about $220 USD. However the technology behind its operation (high speed ADCs) is basically the same as what is used in a software defined radio like the RTL-SDR. By …

One of my mates picked up one of these when it was a Kickstarter. Truly fantastic piece of equipment - installation of the SDR was pretty much point and click.

Finally finished the Adamant remodel.  Worked some late nights to animate this warp drop-out to get it up to snuff.  Still some things I didn't like about it, but, alas, it's the way it is. :)

I hate lima beans :-)  I am convinced that we need to start gardens and eat from them.  When kids regain the connection with the earth that we have seemed to have lost and they taste how good most of it is...  Here's hoping.

My latest update to Leap 42.1 ( via zypper up ) contained 105 packages , one of which is causing system lockups when launching certain applications. It was a perfectly functioning system before said updates. I'm wondering if any one out there has been experiencing any similar issues lately. Running on core 2 quad with Nvidia gtx 550 ti . I hate to do this here but below is a list of the updates that , , well updated o_0

You see Mesa-11.0.8-134.1 and I see nvidia.
Try to simply force a reinstallation of nvidia-* package you have.
It's known that sometimes mesa and nvidia conflicts a bit and fight for .so
Or perhaps it's time to remove nvidia and just use only nouveau ?

Peculiar is while running Leap 42.1, Network Manager can establish a wifi connection without any difficulty, however when I attempt to configure the same interface via yast, using the same settings as my old install (13.1), I only recieve an ipv6 address. dmesg tail indicates associated but without an ipv4 address and get nowhere o_O. It'sa makey me crazy. Any ideas out there  ?

Got it fixed by installing the nvidia proprietary driver. No more black screen and freezing ;-)

Meins is just the opposite: installed AMD fglrx proprietary driver and GUI won't show after restart. Have to uninstall fglrx to back to desktop again.
