Autumn in Central Park.

The colors were not as vivid as in year's past but still beautiful.

Group video calling for 15 people now a core service within Talk/Hangouts in Google Apps for Education. So exciting to see how schools use this tool. #gafe   #googlect   #googleedu

Hangouts now supports any Google Apps customer account
We've heard from educators that multi-way video calling would be a useful tool for learning. It would help students connect with experts and with each other, and would help educators teach remotely and collaborate with their peers. So starting today, Hangouts video meetings support any Google Apps customer account (http://goo.gl/L5xha4), including those without a Google+ profile. Google Apps customers can start or join a high-definition video meeting that connects 15 participants from their computer (and coming soon for mobile and tablet). Multi-way calling will also be available if you’re using Google Talk.

To help you get started, we’ve put together 10 ways to use multi-way video calling in class: http://goo.gl/93b1c4. We can’t wait to see how you’ll use this new feature.

So, of course things can change, but I received my information from an employee at Google who I have works in the Google for Education department.  I was told that if I purchase tablets with the service that I would be good to go, but if I wanted to use the service with existing tablets I would need to wait for engineering to finish some stuff.   I am also anxious to use this as I just deployed 300 Nexus 7 2013 models at our school.  (Which has been awsome!) This service would of saved me a lot of time.   I am currently using Meraki as an MDM.  It is free and provides some useful information but I think the Google product will be better in provisioning and pushing out apps.
