It's a little shaky but I find the "on the helmet" perspective pretty interesting, especially in a car as fast as this: http://qoo.ly/5kdqh

Car Racing Track

Thunderhill Raceway Park is a road racing course located 7 miles (11 km) West of Willows, California on Hwy 162. The course is a fast series of twists and turns with minor elevation changes. Thunderhill is owned and operated by the San Francisco Region of the SCCA. It is host to many motorports events for cars and motorcycles. The SCCA uses Thunderhill for its automotive race competitions. The Northern California Chapter of the AFM runs several motorcycle races there every year.

The standard road course at Thunderhill Park is a 3.0-mile (4.83-km), 15 turn course, however the track is configurable and event organizers can configure the course as they see fit.

Thunderhill is the site of the longest automobile race in the United States; the 25 Hours of Thunderhill. The race is held annually during the first weekend in December and is sanctioned by NASA (National Auto Sport Association).

I rode my motorcycle on this track at a Pacific Track Time track day it was Amazing Amazing Amazing!!! The PTT instructors were very helpful in taking me (a street rider for years) and showing me how to ride at the racetrack, giving me instructions then following me around the track and giving me further training. By the end of the day I could barely walk from riding so hard, and my cheeks hurt from smiling so much in my helmet. It was the best day of riding I've ever ever had!!!

At some point we all need to drive Laguna and Sears for coffee table conversation, but in Northern California there is only one track that ranks number one. Thunderhill. Now with the East and West courses...wow. First timers...racers...teen drivers...this place has it all. Every new teen driver should do the driving clinic at Thunderhill. Every sports car owner should do at least one track day with Hooked on Driving at Thunderhill.

One of the best tracks in California for you to drive your car! A well maintained facility all around, SCCA, Hooked on Driving, Stormin Norman's Mini Thunder, a busy calendar full of fun events, great people here. Come have fun, it's worth the drive here.

Great track for first timers and experienced racers. This track has a variety of slow and high speed turns, elevation changes, and high speed straights.
