Requested fabric samples over a month ago, several follow-ups, nothing. Received a box of samples from their competitor in less than a week. If they can't handle fabric samples, I won't be trusting with a furniture order.

They are my favorite source for mid-century furniture because they are local and custom. I got a solid deal on a custom fabric Papa Bear chair.

I bought a Jefferson bed in Queen two years ago. It is my favorite furniture purchase in a long time. Quality fabric, simple sturdy design, smaller footprint then other Queen beds I have looked at, and easy to assemble. I did not have any of the delivery issues that some people have experienced and I live in the middle of the country. The only issue now is that they no longer make this bed and I need one in king. :(

I previously owned a Restoration Hardware Maxwell sofa...the ex took it. So imagine my excitement to find the same sofa at a significantly reduced price on the Thrive website. I read the reviews and placed my order via phone; Jacquie took my order and was ABSOLUTELY awesome. Fun to talk to and was able to offer me an even better discount....that was on April 23. Would you believe that today (June 14), almost two months later, I just now received the sofa?! This was after receiving a series of excitement-inducing emails with inaccurate shipping dates from Thrive. It was absolutely impossible to get a straight answer from anyone with regard to the ship date; it just dragged on and on without any progress. I paid extra for the white glove delivery and was assigned a delivery date for which I stayed home from work....(you know where this is going)...received a call halfway through the day that the couch would not be delivered for another week. After I pulled a nutty on the phone with the shipping agent they were able to make arrangements to have it to me 5 days later instead of 7....which yes, required me to take another day off from work. The sofa is fantastic and exactly what I wanted; it's exactly the same as my Maxwell Sofa from Restoration Hardware. I'm not a complainer and typically am a pretty patient guy but the experience with Thrive once the order was placed and credit card was charged was beyond frustrating and extremely disappointing. There was little follow through, communication was inaccurate and the length of time required to get the couch to me was completely unacceptable. I realize that the shipping is probably not directly Thrive's fault however they gladly took my money and should be partnered with vendors that can be a bit more reliable. In summary, if I had to do it over I honestly think I would have just ordered a new Maxwell sofa from Restoration Hardware (which is on sale at the time of writing this review)....yes it would have been a few more dollars but I would have gladly paid more to get the sofa to me in less time. The sofa is finally in my living room and there's no question that the product is gorgeous and everything I was hoping...but my enthusiasm for it and Thrive Furniture are couched!

I purchased the Nixon sofa, 2 Eisenhower chairs and 2 Monroe ottomans over 3 years ago (back in 2012), and wanted to wait to review them until they'd been properly used. I was definitely worried about buying the furniture sight unseen (I'm in Seattle, and didn't have access to a showroom). I liked that they will send fabric samples. That helped me to decide which colors to go for, and to see the quality of the fabric used. I *love* this furniture. Quality materials, the fabric hasn't faded despite being next to a sunny window. The cushioning is still firm, no mushiness. The wood on the armchair and ottoman is pettably smooth and delicious. I'm on their mailing list, and am tempted to buy other products, but unfortunately don't have the room. If you're on the fence, I'd say buy one item and see for yourself.

I love my new couch -- the one I waited a year and a half for (I saved my money and it took that long)! I ordered the Taylor sofa with the most durable fabric I felt Thrive offered -- Cordova -- because of the large cushions. Customers need to consider this, but Thrive needs to be able to either advise their customers about fabrics vs. wear and tear OR not offer the lightweight materials (which by the way, I chose for some great accent pillows). The firmness is also something I appreciate and was told about. If you want a soft, cushy sofa, you're not going to find it in these great mid-century styles regardless of who makes them!

We bought a chair from Thrive three years ago, and just bought a second matching one because we loved the first so much. Thrive's customer service is excellent - they answer the phone or live chat promptly, are great at emailing customers while their piece is being created, and do a great job on social media of making you feel like you joined a family. One rep called us to follow up and confirm the second order because we didn't ask to receive color swatches before we submitted our order - he wanted to make sure we were getting the right fabric and were totally happy with our product.

We ordered the Nixon love seat in June. It's not a super comfortable couch, but it looked good and we figured it would break in. The legs don't come straight down but descend at an angle, which I had concerns might be problematic. Unfortunately, this proved correct. One of the back legs of the couch had broken by mid-August after light use (neither I nor my wife weigh more than 190 lbs). Here's where things went from bad to worse - Thrive was happy to send a replacement part when contacted, but sent the first part to the wrong address. The second time, they sent the wrong part. We still don't have a functioning couch and if we could we would just return it. To sum it up: good looking, shoddily designed/constructed furniture with terrible customer service. Avoid!
