Hey there folks! I'm looking to correspond and network with other YouTube bartenders and alcohol vloggers/bloggers. I've created a mission video which you can view at my blog, and linked in this post. If you have a passion for all things alcohol, I would love to hear from you, and partner up in some way! #bartending   #foodiechats   #blogger

Hey there folks! Just looking to share my mission and correspond/network with other bartenders on G+ and YouTube. I'm a passion driver bartender, who loves bartending, alcohol, and learning, and wants to share my passion with as many people as possible. Let me know if you're in a similar position of wanting to network in this way! #Alcohol   #Beer   #Wine

Hey there guys... I've started doing a podcast with a couple of my friends and I have a few "technical difficulties" with the software I'm using. First of all here's the context of what I'm talking about; the conversation is happening on Skype and being recorded using XSplit (which normally people use for streaming video games on Twitch). The software has an option to directly stream video from Skype, however, which is why I've been using it - somewhere down the line I'd like to stream my podcasts live on UStream or something similar.

So I'd like to ask a few questions regarding using this software particularly, but, if you can offer me cheap work arounds with another program that would be ideal as well! I also have a few questions regarding streaming video from Skype as well, so if you guys have experience with that as well it would help.

Here are my issues:

1. Whenever I start to stream video from Skype my audio quality drops substantially. (If it's relevant, I'm using a Blue Snowball microphone)

2. Whenever I use XSplit's built in option to stream video from Skype it shows the entire clunky group conversation window; is there a way that I can change the display settings for video discussions in Skype to be optimized for this sort of direct streaming of video?

3. Is there a program out there that's optimized for streaming video directly from Skype to a stream hosting site like UStream, or, if not, is there a program out there that's optimized simply for recording video from Skype for the purpose of recording podcasts, interviews, etc.

This last part isn't really a question, but I suppose I'll add it just to give some more relevancy to my situation. I would like to do live streams of my podcast that shows our skype conversation, but the video I upload to YouTube is going to be basically formatted like this ( The Social Y Podcast - Ep. 1 "Asheron's Call, Pedophiles, GTA V Rape Hack and more." ); so specifically for the purposes of uploading to YouTube, my show has a heavy post-production process, BUT, the actual live stream I would like to focus on just the skype video with maybe a backdrop, and have the ability to use our webcam video in the post-produced video that will go up on YouTube.

Thanks!

I reviewed Pinnacle Whipped Vodka with my girlfriend not too long ago. I'll have to level with everyone... I'm not a fan of novelty flavored vodkas. BUT. This turns out to be one of the better ones that I've tasted.

It's fun, and goes well in a few hi-balls (something else I'm not a fan of). I would challenge someone to make a non-dessert, classic inspired cocktail out of this stuff; heck, I may try to.

The Old Fashioned is the original cocktail... don't mess it up! wag of the finger

Coming out of the 90s, you may be familiar with the various concoctions advertised as old fashioned. Strange combinations of muddled fruit, soda water, cherries, etc... An Old Fashioned is, well... old fashioned. It's about the spirit involved, and making the spirits slightly more palatable. This does not, however, mean making it more 'approachable' by detracting from the spirits.

Don Julio Reposado is an aged Tequila, aged in American bourbon barrels for 8 to 11 months. On the nose is vanilla and other spices giving a baked caked aroma. The barrel aging has imparted a palette of maple, licorice, and smoke. There are also Blanco Tequila qualities such as black pepper, earthiness, and chives. The smoke builds over time and the black pepper is not pungent.

I love Don Julio's Blanco series, and to be honest, I'm not that versed in aged Tequilas, but this is easily the best tasting tequila I've had. I'd even rank it higher than some of Don Julio's other products, such as their Anejo and Don Julio 1942. As for a rating, I give this tequila a five out of five stars. #TheBottleOpener   #DonJulio   #Tequila

Tasting Notes - Don Julio Reposado
