Still quite high-level, but looks cool!

Nice video about our proposed campus released today!

Impressive battery life on my new Moto G (2nd gen). To be fair, it's only my secondary phone and it's in standby most of the time. But still pretty good!

New in Google Calendar on the web

Today's update to Calendar on the web brings a number of time-saving improvements:

Get event updates without refreshing
Google Calendar now displays changes to your calendar—such as new invitations or event updates—as soon as they happen. Now you don't need to refresh to make sure you see the latest changes.

See selected calendars without scrolling
For those of you who have more than a few calendars listed in “Other calendars”, you can now see at a glance which are currently displayed. The calendars you’ve selected to show will move to the top—so you don’t have to scroll through the whole list. Learn more: http://goo.gl/xJXtq9

Browser back button support
Tired of the ‘Back’ button in your browser not working? The Back button is now supported and will bring you to your previous view or date in Google Calendar.

Check out these new features the next time you're at calendar.google.com.

Argh. Moving things around in the list sounds like a terrible idea. Now I'll actually have to read through all the names one by one to find the one I'm looking for instead of going to the right place through muscle memory. Microsoft tried this ages ago with menus that randomly changed which items they listed based on your past behaviour and it was unusable.

If you would just fix the Kennedy colour problem where you can't distinguish a selected calendar from one your mouse is hovering over and can't tell what colour the deselected calendars are unless you mouse over them that would make it perfectly easy to find the calendars you want.

But +1 to making the back button work! That's a huge annoyance gone.

Android users, rejoice!

We’re proud to introduce a new video-trimming feature and inline video previews for our app.  Now you can select the exact frame where the video starts and ends, giving you precise control of your trims in a simple, intuitive way.  Additionally, there is now an inline video preview before the video is uploaded.  And with faster upload capability, it’s never been easier to upload your YouTube videos on-the-go!

Get the app here: http://goo.gl/mwswrm

Does anybody need a Skicard? I got two free.

You can use them in almost all ski resorts and don't have to buy/borrow one of theirs. Also you can buy ski passes online and skip the queue.

No I don't get money for this :)

I only went to the wine bar, so I cannot comment on the food. Please ignore my food scores! This is a really unique place though, with its wooden and charmingly run-down wooden interior. Great place to go if you fancy a wine, in a not too fancy atmosphere!

The birthplace of the Dada movement still is an artsy place today, with Lego bricks filling the gaps in the walls and even the toilet paper holders being part of an art installation. Enjoyed best with some red wine, for which I always got good recommendations! You can have Absinthe too, of course.

Fantastic place for a sunset drink, overlooking lake Zurich and the alps! Fancy a swim before your locally produced beer? No problem! One of my favorite outdoor bars in Zurich.

Love hanging out there on a sunny day, drinking an Amboss beer, sitting at the river! I really like the cool decoration and the option to go outside. Only went there for drinks and ordered at the bar, so I can't comment too much on the service.
