It can be hard for a small local business to grow a following on social media. Especially when it's a brand new company. My co-workers and I recently killed it for one of our clients. And I put together a case study to showcase our work. Take a look! "How We Helped A Small Local Business Get 5,000 Facebook Fans in 30 Days" - http://bit.ly/1TOx7Sf

Not perfect by any means, but I'm hopefully starting to see some improvement. Here's my second acoustic song ... a cover of Defeater's "I Don't Mind." Positive feedback is always welcome. :) http://bit.ly/1Mno5eA

Let's start with the positives. Their turnaround time is decent. They call and explain issues before beginning a project. And they are there until 6 pm, which is convenient when you need to pick up your car after the work day. On the negative end, they are overpriced. Their hourly rate is the most expensive I've seen for a mechanic and certainly the most in this area (I've shopped around). The parts they order also seem to be pricey too. A quote they gave me for a suspension issue was several hundred dollars more than what I ended up paying at a different location nearby. More importantly, I'm starting to get the impression that they are taking advantage of my lack of car knowledge and suggesting repairs that I do NOT need. For example, I recently took my car for a basic inspection. I was told that my front brakes needed to be replaced to pass inspection and they also recommended that I have the back brakes replaced as well. It would have been close to a $600 job. Slightly skeptical, I took my car elsewhere. I was told that the back brakes still had a few YEARS left of life in them and the fronts probably had another 8-12 months. They, by no means, needed to be changed in order to pass a basic NYS inspection. Additionally, they have no experience working with car insurance companies. In a separate prior case, I needed repairs after an accident. This shop was very confused as to how to handle the paperwork which was frustrating for me since I was without a car and relying on someone to get it up and running as quick as possible. This was through Geico, not a small local insurance firm with custom paperwork. Thankfully, Geico towed it for me to a new repair shop at no cost. Needless to say, I will not be taking my car to this location again. The only reason I took it here before is its convenient location from where I live. I'm willing to drive a few miles now to save money. They have close to $1000 that I will never get back. I urge others to shop around before having mechanic work done here.
