Is there a mechanism to EXPORT email addresses from G Suite? I need to get them into our SIS in order to use Clever.com

Jason Mcginnity: You can do it from the admin console. If you go to users then the top level OU click on the + icon in the bottom right and select batch upload. There will be a pop-up that lets you download a CSV template and you can tick the box that says pre-populate the CSV.

Sean Nelson: Yep! The [gam print users] command will do that. To get just the info you need, see the documentation here:

Kim Nilsson: Karl, tried setting up GAM with the new setup where the person creating the JSONs isn't a superadmin?

I'm going to ask Jay to see if that can be semi-automated. It should run through the setup of the JSONs, and pause with the urls for the superadmin to process, and then wait for the GAM user to receive the response codes.

I'm thinking, two emails need to be given. User and superadmin.

Hmm, if you say "no browser" during the setup, isn't this very close to what I want?

Has anyone tried using a ChromeBox with a Promethean ActivPanel? I'm already using a Chromebit on a TV for digital signage so I'm ready to "take the next step"

Bjorn Behrendt (EdListen): What are you using for digital signage? I use to use risevision but they dropped support for ChromeOS. I looked around but didn't like anything so I am now writing my own signage editor.

Bjorn Behrendt (EdListen): +Kyle Calderwood I still use mine, I just don't like that I can't reinstall if something goes wrong.

Stephen Gale: I played with one about a year ago, It worked with my Chrome*book*. The main thing is that the Chrome package include the touch drivers. At the time, the HP14 Gen 1 (non touchscreen device) did include said drivers, but the early CTL J1 did not. CTL has since included touch drivers (from what I'm told).

Under "Managed Bookmarks" there is a field labelled "Managed Bookmarks Folder Name"

What does that do? What is it for? Is it a mechanism for organizing managed bookmarks with folders?

Stephen Gale: With the setting blank, the folder will be named "Bookmarks for yourdomain.org" This can take up a lot of room, especially if you have a .k12.state.us domain.

Marty Sharpe: Yes, that is basically a folder for bookmarks.

Stephen Gale: No- it changes the folder name of the Managed Bookmark Folder.
Within the GPO for Chrome Management, you do have the ability to push out Folders within the Folder, but that isn't presently available in the Admin Console.

Recently, I "discovered" Groups for Business so I migrated from "ordinary" Groups. All of my NON-student group members have posting permission, BUT for my STUDENT members, it says "Web posting has been disabled by domain administrator"

However, I can't figure out WHERE I disabled posting permission for students!

Kyle Taylor: You need to go into Group Settings. Here's how I have set it up so that our High School students CANNOT post to their Group. Only Owners/Managers of the group can do so.

I can't seem to find any groups permission settings in Chrome administration although it seems to be related to the OU because ONLY students are affected!
