I keep a Pirate hat in my office, for whatever odd reason (probably because I often wear many hate (figuratively).  I usually wear it when I'm looking to be uninterrupted since it's fairly obvious to see.  If the hat is on, carry on!

Yeah, you could say we have a great office culture.

Had a great staycation as a getaway from Anchorage. Cabin was nice, warm and comfortable and the staff super friendly and accommodating. Views are amazing. 10/10 would stay again!

Cabela's is what you expect of a big box store. Lots of store brand stuff to dominate the store which can be of great value or may not be. For camping and hunting, it's one of the places to go in town. For firearms, it's got a pretty decent selection. For all the in between stuff, it really does excel at having a little bit of everything. But there are cons, some big ones: 1) Parking is always an issue. Not the fact that there aren't enough parking spaces but most people that park here tend to have the widest trucks known to mankind and/or don't know how to park them. I've had more difficulty getting into my vehicles since they've opened than I have in 20+ years of driving. Take my advice, park away from the front! 2) Checkout can be painfully slow and unorganized. If the lines are backed up you'll seldom see a new cashier come online. You've just got to stand and wait and wait and... 3) Gun counter service is horrible. Be prepared to wait for 30 minutes on average to speak to someone at the gun counter if the one person is already engaged with a customer. It might even be longer. I think they need to make appointments.

A premium burger place with average prices - hard to believe but it's true. The quality of the food is what you'd expect from a place like Burger-Fi or other high end burger joints but the prices are typical of what you'd see at Carl's Jr for a burger meal. You can also get beef and chicken burgers done you way but there is also a black bean burger to fulfill that healthy/vegan option. They have options for the type of bun as well as adding a flat egg - YUM! Their side orders are the typical fare with regular fries, fried pickles (that aren't too greasy!) and fried veggies. These veggies aren't deep fried but are somehow cooked enough to make tastier than raw but aren't overcooked to being mushy and limp. Their shakes are on par with Arctic Roadrunner although they lack the chunkiness that you get from them. Overall, the new restaurant rush is over but the lines are still long but move very fast! It's remarkable how quick they can move food but still retain quality. A definite must eat if you are going to Target or Cabela's.

For a state run range, it's pretty good. The rangemaster are decent folk having to deal with a wide "range" of people with lots of different shooting agendas to deal with. For what they have to do, they run the show fairly well, however there are somethings for shooters to consider before going: 1) Range rules are pretty typical for safety - it's by the book. 2) No reactive targets or other targets. Basically clays and paper targets are all you are going to get to have. 3) Shooting intervals are around 15 minutes. During an all clear there is no touching your firing line gear (what's on your table). From time to time you'll have people come in who have made me decide to come back another day. Your mileage will vary.

One of the great Pho experiences you'll have in Anchorage. A huge menu with as much variety as you want. Everything here is authentic, fresh and tasty. Lunchtime can be crowded so come early and get seated.
