I wish they had a wired Chromecast model.  House is wired with shielded Cat6, and the router and switches all support GigE.  I dislike that the CC is dependent on wireless when so many variables can effect the performance (interference from neighbors networks, someone downloading across the wireless on my network, among many other variables). Crossposted from my comments in the Plex users group.

Nice deal at $120.00.  Specs look good, and this is Seagate's first entry into the SSD market.  We shall see, but I'll keep my laptops old traditional hard drive as is, and put it in the safe in case this one should ever fail.

PMS running on Windows 8 keeps wanting to open the file C:\users\User\AppData\Local\Plex, but that folder or file does not exist.  Only since the last update of PMS, never happened before that.  Anyone else getting this?

I had the same problem. Couple of things to try. Did you run as administrator when starting plex? If the folder wasn't created. Create it and restart the server. Make sure the permissions on the folder are the same as the user you're running plex with.

Introduction
Phone or Text 321-557-4700

I'm Manufacturer Certified in the Service & Repair of Laser, Dot Matrix, Receipt Printers, Multi-Function Machines (print / copy / fax / scan) & Plotters.

I also have over 30 years of experience in the IT industry.  Simply put, if it's a computer or connects to a computer I can service or repair it.

Recognized as Best of OnForce for 2011.

100% 5 Star Rated on Work Market.

Rated "Exceeds Expectations" over 90% of completed work on Field Nation.

I was the kid in the '70's who would install stereo systems in cars, hack CB radios, and tear apart electronics just to figure out how they worked.

I took my first programming class in 1979 (COBOL) and programmed on punch cards.  In the 80's I ran various BBS's and became very involved in FIDONet.

I serve 13 years in the US Navy and left the service as a Fire Control Technician 1st Class.  The training I received in the Navy are in eleco/mechanical, and electronics engineering.

I left the Navy in 1994 and went to work for Lockheed Martin at Kennedy Space Center, and later for NASA working on the Wide Area Network, including several wireless links.

That was followed in 1996 with a two year R&D project for Time Warner known as "The Full Service Network".  Many of today's products came from that project.  Think Tivo, DVR's, Video on demand, online games, and being able to buy a product by pressing a button on the remote.  Everything was done on SGI Onyx boxes and we had a Terabyte of storage that took up about 2,000 square feet of floor space.  This is also where I first learned of Linux and spent days downloading twenty some disk it took to install slackware back then.

In 1998 I Co-Founded one of the 1st wireless ISP's in the country using equipment that was soon to become available on the consumer market.  The business bloomed, and we opened a 6000 square foot collocation facility, and I was head engineer in charge of several racks of servers, and a network that was spread out over 200 square miles.

Currently I'm very happily self employed doing contract work for some of  the worlds largest companies.

In 2007 I was awarded the Small Business of the Year award from our local Chamber of Commerce.  I was told it was the first time the award had been won by and individual and not a company.  That was a very proud day!

In 2009 I was the Chairman of the Board for the Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce and the following year represented the Chamber as the Director of Government Affairs.

I'm also a beta tester for many forthcoming products.  Wait until you see the things that are in the pipeline!  You will be amazed!!!

No place to rate the food, but save your money. Ordered prime rib ($21.)), it was served at refrigerator temp and was tough as leather. When I complained they took my whole plate of food to the back & brought it back 2 minutes later at room temp, but all the butter from my baked potato was now melted all over the plate & into the meat. Felt insulted that they only offered 10% off the bill. They should be arrested for what they did to that cow, & should sell this location to someone who cares about quality.

They should advertise it as "Hot or Ready". Seems as though you can never have both. I've learned to just call in our order 20 minutes before arrival even though everything we order is supposed to be on the Hot & Ready menu.

Great buffet. All you can eat sushi (very fresh and well made), snow crab, at least 3 different shrimp plates, oysters on the 1/2 shell, and lobster along with the traditional Japanese buffet regulars. Very clean appearance, and the food is prepared very well. Not your run of the mill, and a pleasant surprise.
