The Catholic Church is launching a campaign to convince America that its civil rights are in jeopardy because of the national mandate for contraception coverage in employer provided health insurance.

To me, this begs the question: Does the Catholic Church HAVE first Amendment protection?

Are Churches People, too?

The church is an organization and therefore is entitled rights that pertain to an organization... or business. Businesses and organizations are not people and are not entitled to civil rights. The idea of the church having civil rights is laughable.

church : "My civil rights declare that you gays CANNOT have civil rights"!
