- Ruom CollectiveFreelance photojournalist, 1 - present“RUOM” is a Khmer word meaning all together, or going together. Ruom collective is the collaboration of people, working together with a common purpose. Founded in Cambodia in 2013 by photographers Thomas Cristofoletti and Nicolas Axelrod, the collective is a space of interaction between professionals. Bringing together journalists, researchers, videographers, and photographers, the collective provides an opportunity to exchange and share information – providing multiple perspectives and more depth to long-term documentary projects. RUOM is an organic and mutating concept, always open to finding new projects on which to collaborate with people and professionals who share the same vision, objectives and sensitivity to mutual enrich common works.
