Very average. Pasta dishes lacked creativity. Wood fired pizzas are better at other places (ie, Nomad). Some dishes overpriced (ie, antipasti). Won't be returning. Too many other good restaurants in Philly.
Thoughtful, creative menu. Foie gras soup very distinctive and more varied flavors than expected. Octopus (sepia) and pork amazing. Escargot was disappointing though (says was bitter and didn't make the escargot shine). Fantastic desserts. Cherries with schezuan ice cream was incredible. Balanced and flavorful. Great staff and service as well.
