+Andrew Tucker They probably think they helping America by not picking and choosing "winners", those they help by hurting others, it is not really their place to do that, is it. It is one thing to be generous with your own money, and something other than true generosity, when you are sharing someone elses money.  Keep in mind that the Governor also represents justice and the people who live outside those destination cities, who would be exploited to pay higher taxes and wages, without having a vote.

If women don't speak up now, they can forever hold their peace. The next batch of Republicans who can potentially control both Houses of Congress and the Presidency (all other things being equal), would literally turn back the hands of time for the American women. The only right they'd have left would be the right to walk in public without covering their faces. That, and maybe (just maybe) a couple of other benevolences from the government.
Goodluck, ladies.
If I had a vagina, I would camp out at the polling booth on Election Day!

Hatchet job
Episode One of Showtime's "Years Of Living Dangerously" has made an impact before it even aired. Sadly, the New York Times has run an error-riddled op-ed on the series -- based on the trailer.

+Allan S There is so little substance to your comment, that you are the one that looks like he is blowing smoke.  Why don't you try discussing some facts and maybe learn something?

Well, I know that they are working on a self sufficient system, much like the disastrous Thorium fueled car.  If they are successful, it will be self charging for at least 7 years.  THAT would be quite an accomplishment.  It would pay for itself if people could learn to plan for battery replacements in that amount of time.

+Steve Smith Correct, they should have been mutually exclusive, but that did not deter those who wrote the law, nor those who voted for, but didn't read the law.
