Using global variables will have performance issue ?.

var MYAPP = {};

MYAPP.stooge = {
"first-name": "Joe",
"last-name": "Howard"
};

I am using something like this

It could it be a bit slower (probably not much) because it needs to go through all scopes/closures and look for MYAPP variable before it finds the global one.

What is the difference between the two declaration methods below?

}
function functionTwo() {

}

+Brady Dowling The first variant just follows from the fact that JavaScript has function as first-class objects, so you can assign their values to variables. It's not that this specific construct is intentionally built-in, it is just the most simple method of creating a function and storing it in a variable.

if those pages are dynamic, i.e. you have 1000 articles in db that you want to display, or similar idea - not a problem for angular .. if you have 1000 static pages and you want to define routes for each .. good luck :D

That is the correct answer, but you do need to control the other domains server. If that is not an option, you could use jsonp instead $http.jsonp
