The stars of this tribute to the Harlem jazz clubs of the 1920s and ’30s are the 16 virtuosic musicians who perform — with verve, style and a good splash of sheer joy.

Amazing, unique and full of surprises...The rooms are quiet, the beds comfortable, most advanced technology...all in all, a great experience that will bring a smile to your face. A new guest experience.

My family and I stayed at The William for a weekend and weren't sure what to expect going in...I must say that we were all very pleasantly surprised from the second we walked in to the beautifully restored old world lobby, greeted by a warm and friendly staff member who took the time to explain everything to us, and once we got to our rooms, we were sure that we were going to enjoy every minute.. The decor is so unique and "cool", the beds were amazingly comfortable , the kitchen is fully stocked to make you feel like you are home, and the technology is up to the minute..Besides the fact that everything is impeccably clean. We loved the pub and the bar downstairs so much that we stayed there both nights for dinner. Our experience was wonderful, and I would highly recommend The William to anyone who wants a home like feeling in a New York hotel.

I stayed at the William last night and had such a wonderful experience. The room was immaculate and modern with really cool touches like vintage record coasters, L'occitane soaps and shampoos, and a delicious chocolate cheesecake heart. The design of the hotel is very unique and stylish and the staff was all super friendly. The Shakespeare serves exquisite cocktails and has an extensive tasty beer selection (not to mention fantastic fish and chips with Sir Kensington's ketchup for the chips). This place goes all out across the board- the best hotel I have stayed at in NYC

I stayed here with my wife during the pre-opening. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and the rooms were impeccably clean. The design team really focused on every minute detail and it truly shows in the final product. The William is truly the best product in the extended stay market, period. Highly recommended!

I stayed at the William this past weekend and my experience was unlike any hotel / apartment experience I've ever had. As soon as you enter the space, you are completely drawn in, sparking curiosity as to what lies upstairs. I knew from the second I walked in that this was something special. The people at the front desk are warm, friendly and helpful, and took the time to carefully explain each unique feature (Nespresso machines, showers, etc). They also gave me a personalized "passport" with useful information about the area, including restaurant recommendations, which was helpful since my friends and I always have trouble brainstorming. The rooms are breathtaking both from far out and close up. The bold colors provide light and excitement, without being overwhelming (a delicate balance to strike!). Kitchens have everything you need as well. Not to mention- Possibly the best beds I've ever slept in (and I'm currently considering buying one for my own home, or at least the pillows ; ) ) The bar downstairs is lively, comfortable and casual...It also features a great menu. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to be inspired by their stay in NYC.
