Image tip #4 Use Your Words

People’s eyes are drawn to images which is why they perform so much better. Adding text means your message is more likely to be seen and, therefore, interacted with.

Text is not the only way words are important to images - search engines, like Google, use the image’s file name and the alt tags associated in searches.

Image Tip #3 Take the photo on the same level as your subject

We tend to hold our phone at chest height when taking pictures. Products, children and animals, for example, look better when you take the photo at their level.

You don’t have to crouch down to take the photo! Try using the external button on your phone (volume button for iPhone) to take a one-handed photo.

Image Tip #2 Take the photo in landscape mode

Landscape mode allows you to have a better perspective about how the subjects in your photo fit into the frame. Plus, you’re less likely to zoom in on the subject. This allows you more space to crop the picture to your liking.

Thank you for your kind book review of ‘In The Heart of Social Media Marketing’ & testimonial Catherine Doolan from Melbohemian.com! This is why we do what we do!

A 10 out of 10 read for a social media innocent!

Large print and easy to read chapters which set out the blue print for social media marketing success even if in the end you decide to outsource it you will understand what it is you need and why. Reading this book saves you time, money, mistakes and heartache.

I have a web –based business, yes, a web site, which looks great and is getting ready to function the way I had planned it in my dreams 10 years ago.
But here’s the thing, no one knew about it and I had no idea how to get it out there in the big wide world. Minna, her team and her book, have given me, absolutely, what I need to achieve my dream. Identifying my IDEAL client, and specifically marketing to them on social media channels has given me the freedom to work IN my business not ON my business. I really couldn’t have done it without my Social Media Angel….. Thank you so much!!

Image Tip #1 Did you know that 87% of Facebook posts with images get some sort of engagement?

It’s important to pay attention to the images you’re posting. With images grabbing more attention than text, you have to make sure you’re sharing out those that not only catch the eye but also reflect the look and feel of you brand!
