Photoshop CC's new Select and Mask feature significantly updates the way we can approach and finish masking tasks in Photoshop. I've heard many, many complaints about the change. That's not too surprising though, because change always brings some complaints. Much of the complaining appears warranted due to hardware issues. The rest of the complainers don't understand how to use Select and Mask effectively.
Overall I think Select and Mask is a huge step in the right direction. It works well on my machine, and saves me significant time on all of my masking projects, which I do almost daily. This is a thorough tutorial / tour of Select and Mask. I show how I use it, and why I like it. I also share where I think it falls short and offer suggested improvements that I hope to see sooner than later. #Adobe
