So, this could be SUPER fun!!!

SILICON VALLEY COMIC CON: Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and Marvel Comics' Stan Lee announced Friday that they'll bring a Silicon Valley Comic Con to San Jose next year. http://nbcbay.com/xwurnnJ

The event will take place on March 19-20 at San Jose McEnery Convention Center and focus on the convergence of pop culture and technology.

Mobile tech has increased our willingness to extend our work time. Is this true for you?

Focus is key. Choose your audience and make it happen.

I rarely write titles like this. I'm not a big fan of linkbait. But in this case, it's utterly true.

Too many good characters out there to choose from. Can't decide if I go with an oldie but goodie like Sydney from Alias or choose something newer more contemporary like Neal Caffrey from White Collar. Will post a link to my character soon. Decisions, decisions ...

I finally did the assignment. My story, it's a radio commercial. It happens in less than 30-seconds. So short and sweet, but it gets me to turn up a commercial every time.

Reminds me of the commercials for the superbowl in the US.  I never watched the games but always relished the commericals.

What are you feelings about positivity and negativity? I find that being negative is exhausting. But, positivity brings me dividends!
Think about your day/week/month … Now consider the times when you felt the most tired, exhausted, defeated, etc. What did those events have in common? After one week of being stepmom to five and three year old boys, I was exhausted. It was a relatively easy week. Not too many melt downs, ...

Check out wedding dresses through history. Great article about a museum exhibit. I LOVED the photos.

How did brides go from wearing conservative petticoats to rebellious mini-dresses, and to the even raunchier bling-studded princess-y gowns sought after by contemporary brides in "Say Yes to the Dress"? http://f-st.co/i0ojF6J

I'm feeling good. I did the assignment before the day it was due. Here's my blog post about the character profile for our Creative Assignment #2. Enjoy!

Hey All! I work in real estate in Northern California. Looking forward to some new ways to tell stories in a B2B environment with members. Can't wait to learn from everyone.

I had to go and watch the episode after reading the articles. I agree that the owners of Amy's Baking Co. seem a bit derranged, but at the same time have heard the claims in this article about Yelp before. As an avid user of Yelp (I rarely actually review a place of business) I find it helpful to read what others think.

While the Internet has rejoiced in the Bouzaglos’ raving -- their Facebook page has nabbed more than 85,000 likes -- even their angriest rants may hide a shadow of truth. Yelp reviews can destroy a business’s reputation, whether it deserves it or not, some owners say. In fact, more than 700 businesses and consumers have filed complaints about the popular online consumer review service with the Federal Trade Commission -- and earned Yelp a few mixed reviews of its own.

Introduction

In addition to the work I do as a marketing communications professional, I’m a bit of a geek. I enjoy reading about the latest technology gadgets, and will save up to purchase my favorites. At the moment, I love reading the latest book by Nicholas Sparks and my favorite magazines on my iPad. Although, I still have quite a love affair with real paper. Some things just don’t translate to a screen.

When I’m not reading, you can find me watching television. I openly admit that I watch more TV than anyone else I know. My favorite shows are those that have characters I can relate to and/or a grand conspiracy theory. On my list right now, The Walking Dead, Downton Abbey, The Flash and Arrow. Oh, and I have an affinity for reality TV on the Bravo! channel.
