Freshest LGBT Newspaper in New England
Introduction
Now Boston-based, The Rainbow Times was founded in late 2006. Its 1st published issue hit the stands in February, 2007. TRT started as a western MA newspaper, but shortly after (by popular demand) was requested from nearby New England states. Today, TRT is the Freshest LGBT Newspaper in New England, having also been the producer of the Boston Pride Guide, the CT Pride Guide, the Rainbow RiverFest Guide and the 2011 Noho Pride Guide.

Some of these Guides, TRT has also produced since 2007, like the formerly known Northampton Pride Guide, under former Chair Melinda Shaw.

Now in 2012, The Rainbow Times has been selected (for the 2nd year in a row) as Boston Pride's Official Media Partner & Guide and Map Producer. It is an honor that TRT holds highly. Check out our 2011 Boston Pride Guide and Boston Pride Map.

In 2012, The Rainbow Times once again won the bid to be Boston Pride's 2012 Main Media Partner. As such, TRT supplied Boston Pride with comprehensive photo & story coverage of the 10-day celebration via its website, FaceBook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+ and TRT Talk Radio (The Rainbow Times' Podcast, also available via iTunes).

TRT's media powerhouse has grown steadily since 2006 and continues to expand its Boston market, while it tops the ranks of LGBT minority group readership. TRT is half-minority owned and knows how to represent you!
