Interestingly, Scabies is not a skin infection, but an infestation caused by tiny mites that tunnel into the skin.
These mites like warm areas of the body such as between the fingers and under nails and in skin folds. The condition is not serious, but it is contagious. Keloids can occur after a very minor skin injury even if there has been no noticeable damage to the skin.
They can result from acne scarring, a surgical scar, wounds under tension while healing or wounds that get infected, burns, or from ear or body piercing or any inflammatory lesion (such as chicken pox).

If you suffer with an unfortunate scar, get in touch or visit our website to see what's the best solution for you https://www.thelondonskinandhairclinic.com/dermatology-conditions/keloids #keloid #scar #skincare #heathcare #london
