Savory Beef Pie and salad topped w/honey mustard dressing. Awesome! Flaky crust. Hearty stewed beef. I'm going to have to try the Savory Chicken Pie next time. The staff was very attentive and willing to help with recommendations. Everything here is gluten free.

Little Aussie is hidden along a narrow road next to the park, but it is a little gem. We found this place initially by recommendation from a friend and wanted to try it when we were in San Antonio. We went for breakfast/brunch on a Sunday at 10AM and the place was pretty empty-- it had just opened. We got a double waffle and the French toast. The waffles were delicious! They had a hint of coconut flour that was not overpowering and ice cream instead of butter. The French toast was nice and fluffy, but needed more flavor--and is the reason I gave this place 4 instead of 5 stars. The waitstaff were lovely and service was great. The old house that has been retrofitted into a restaurant reminds me of my favorite college restaurants, and when we're in San Antonio we'll definitely come back. Also, we're packing a cooler of goods to take back with us :)

Good food if a little expensive. Wish they had a pure protein breakfast option.

Hi Justin, Thanks for your feedback, it is always nice to get good feedback without the gluten free or allergy friendly qualification 😄

Enough to say that my wife will drive an hour an 40 minutes from Round Rock to pick up and order. The best Gluten free breads and hot dogs that we have tasted. Incredibly good fresh, and you do not lose much when you freeze the breads, and consume them over weeks. Our 10 year old son, who is our reason for being GF literally will loves your products..... We are very happy that we discovered the little Aussie bakery a few years ago.

Hate is a strong word. So, I really don't like giving just one star, but I cannot in good conscious give any more stars to this establishment. The customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. I've frequented this bakery many times, in search of gluten free eatery. The food is so-so, the desserts are good, but usually old. Each time I've returned the treatment has gotten worse. The potential is there to offer a gluten free menu, but unfortunately this management team has not captured the essence of how to treat customers....I will never be back, and will ensure my friend/associates know what they're in for, if they choose to try it out.

Hi Nch H, Thanks for taking the time to provide us with feed back about how we are meeting the needs of our customers. It is never fun to receive feed back like yours, but it does help to keep us on our toes. So sorry that we have so consistently managed to fall short of your expectations so thoroughly. Thank you again for letting us know.

Food is expensive (pasta bake, drink, and dessert) is typically $22. The service is horrendous. The last two times my friends and I were there, we had to go ask about our food (wait staff unapologetic about the wait/failure to bring food to us. This last visit ($45+ for the three of us), I specifically asked if there was any garlic or onion used in the hot dog. I had previously asked about the condiments so I knew there was garlic in those so I told her to leave off all condiments. I specifically asked if they buttered the bun since I had previously been told about the garlic in the butter and kept repeating "no garlic, no onion on anything". After I had eaten the hot dog, my stomach was upset so after repeatedly trying to get the waitress' attention, I was finally able to ask (again) if there was garlic. The waitress very rudely told me of course there was (as if I was an idiot for not knowing) and when I told her I wanted a refund because I had specially and repeatedly told the other woman taking the orders "no onion/no garlic on anything", the snide waitress told me she had heard me but I only had asked about the condiments because she had heard me. I told her that I had pointed out the garlic because that is why I ordered the hot dogs "dry". Then the waitress told me the lady taking the order must have just misunderstood me from how I described it. She would remake the hotdog but would not refund my money because it was my fault and they were a gluten free restaurant and wouldn't guarantee anything else beyond the gluten free. "Customer is always right" is NOT followed and in fact, they are very comfortable with being downright rude and condescending to the customers. Obviously, they feel they have enough business and they don't need our business. The building is run down and very warm inside (may be good for the bread but not good for people to enjoy their meal). The only reason my friends went there was so my food allergies wouldn't bother me and we are all happy to grant the rude waitress' wish by never going back and spending our money at another restaurant.

This place has the best chocolate velvet and coconut cake , I have tried a lot of different cakes and these are the best. My nephew who is not gluten free came with me to try this place out and he got the chocolate velvet cake and he devoured it and couldn't stop saying how good it was. And the bread is the best I've ever tasted and I have tried many. I would definitely recommend this place. And the customer service was great!!!!!!!!

I was diagnosed a celiac in February. Since then it's been an interesting whirlwind of trying to acclimatize to the world without gluten. In that time, the bread I had at Little Aussie is hands down the most bread-like GF bread I've ever had. Hell it was even better than most of the wheat-based bread I had in my lifetime before. Can't recommend it enough for the celiac crowd and it's so good you can take non-celiacs and probably not even have them notice. The chicken pot pie was likewise amazing. And I just tore into the cranberry bread I bought and am loving it as much as the rest. Great little place.

Our Favorite Banana Bread #Recipe: For breakfast, for tea, or anytime indeed! http://wp.me/p44s6k-K6 #glutenfree #dairyfree #delicious
For breakfast, for tea, or anytime indeed! Our take on this classic sweet snack is completely free of gluten, soy, corn, and nuts.  It can easily be made dairy-free, egg-free, and vegan, too!  What more could you ask for?  Throw in some chocolate chips for a scrumptious finish (these are free of dairy and soy)! …
