Nice write-up from +Ethan Cerami (+Dana-Farber Cancer Institute) on the ‪#‎cBioPortal‬ hackathon that +Pieter Lukasse and Fedde from our team joined: http://biobits.org/cbio-portal-hackathon.html

"For those unfamiliar with cBioPortal, it's a web-based platform for analyzing and visualizing large-scale cancer genomic data sets. Earlier this year, cBioPortal went fully open source, and we now have a cross-institutional team from DFCI, +Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, +The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, and +The Hyve working on the continued development of the portal."

Includes descriptions of the hackathon achievements and great lessons for a ‪#‎hackathon‬ in general.
